Loved this turkey frier. Fried a 15.5lb turkey Thanksgiving 2022. Tasted great! I look forward to getting years of frying out of this kit. Pro tips:Take the time to level the base using a construction level and wooden shims or spacers. Frying pot was very slippery on the base before I leveled it. After leveling, it felt very stable.I built a turkey lower device out of a pulley, some window sash cord (rope), and a tall ladder. Everything went fine without any problems.I will say it almost felt like there was barely enough room for that 15.5lb turkey. The leg bones were peaking out of the oil.I took the time to mark the oil fill level using water before using real oil. Don't skip that step. As it was the oil level was really close to the top of the pot.

First off I’d like to say I almost never take the time to write reviews. This company was a complete joy to do business with. When I received my package my 44 Qt. pot had a dent. That really bummed me out. I felt that I had spent top dollar for a top shelf quality product and that dent just bugged me to death. So I sent them a picture of the dent in the pot and ask them what could we do? Amazon feedback page said to wait for up to 24 hours for a response from the seller. This seller responded within three hours. I sent them a picture of the damage. They responded by sending me a brand new pot and told me I could keep the old one as well. If that’s not top shelf top quality customer service I don’t know what is. This is a quality product. I was very impressed with the fit and finish of every item delivered. I guess the old adage is true, you do indeed get what you pay for. I have not used this to cook a turkey yet, however this set up is everything you need to fry a most excellent turkey. And this company really truly impressed me with their customer service. Simply put, AWESOME.

I have no clue why this is asking to rate the flavor..... This thing is nice. I had no problems with setup and it work with no problems. I have only used it 3 times but worked every time. .... So back to eating the flavor... I would be happy to do that when this thing will do all the work and fry the turkey it's slef..To note: I needed a new setup as all my old ones needed to be replaced. But after picking setups and frying turkey for about 20 years now it's got everything ya need.Only thing I would really love is if the pot had a faucet to drain.

This is leaps and bounds above my old aluminum turkey fryer! The shear size and weight are impressive. It's solidly built and very stable. Everything was well packaged and easy to assemble. Very highly recommend buying!

This pot is thick. I don't know about hurt your toe thick. It's hot, its propane, and it is easy to use. It is my very first time cooking with propane at this level. Normally it's the little camping bottles. It was kind of hard to regulate the temp. I had a 23 lbs bird and required about 7 gallon of oil. I mistakenly bought canola oil and it worked great. I cooked the bird for a out a hour. We let is sit in the oven on warm breast side down and we had a very juices turkey. The only issues I really had of concern is that the pot is wobbly on the burner.

Best turkey fryer I've owned. Everything about this kit is solid and well-built, even the injector. Even though the manual says to not fry turkeys with this unit (it's not clear why), this unit works great for that. I purchased it just before Thanksgiving 2017 and we fried two turkeys -- a 22-pounder and a 23-pounder -- and they were awesome. It is a big unit, so it takes a lot of oil - it took 6 gallons to cover a 23-pound turkey. There is a tiny vent hole in the lid, but it's not big enough for the included thermometer, so I drilled it out a little bigger to accommodate the thermometer. This unit was also easy to clean. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Looks great but pot had acouple dents in it so i contacted seller and immediately had the problem taken care of sent new pot

When I received the package, the 44qt stainless steel pot had 2 dents on the bottom. I contacted the company and talked to Troy. He said he'd take care of it and within 2 days I had a new pot delivered, just in time to take it up to deer camp for the inaugural turkey fry. Everything worked perfect. The stainless steel pot retains the heat well and when the turkey went in the oil the temp never dropped. The 18 lb bird was done in 63 min and was very moist. The non turkey lovers were eating 2nds. surprisingly, there were no left overs. I do recommend this product and the great customer service. 6 stars. Thanks again to Troy.
