Great price. Exactly as described so read the description. It’s hard to find a top spiral notebook this size that isn’t wide or Gregg rule. These are colllege rule.I knew from the description that the covers are soft. I took a chance they’d be firm enough for how I use them. They aren’t. I can’t fault that because I knew they were soft. If that isn’t important to you, these are excellent every day notebooks.Paper is good enough for Japanese EF/F/M or Western EF/F fountain pen. I’ve also used them with lighter color felt tip markers like Flair. I haven’t tried them with anything broader than a Faber Castell fine nib. There is ghosting, but at the finer nib sizes it’s not so extreme you can’t use both sides of the page.

The quality of the paper is standard. I just found it really weird that the actual colors are printed on the plastic outer covers of the books. I thought that was just for the advertisement purposes when I was purchasing it.
