I like it better than my aim point. It's low profile isn't as intrusive to my LOS. I find its target picture is better than a single dot especially firing past 500 yards. Works well in close quarters and midrange. All in all a solid purchase.

Received a fake EOtech. Had a NV button that changed the color. Plus it said Made in China.

Great Sight! It offers everything in the description. I love that there is no plastic parts! It has a really robust and durable housing. Just be advised when ordering that you will NOT have the "For Law enforcement/ Military use only" on the side. I believe the picture is one of the newer XPS-3... But don't hold me on that. The only down side I can see is that the reticle is a little blurry at higher settings. Overall, I would indeed recommend this sight.

EoTech EXPS2-2 has two MOA dots, suppose to help for targeting long distance target, it becomes a bit overshadowing for the center point. Had it more supply I would like to replace it with a EXPS2-0.The biggest issue is its power management. Not sure why it takes hours to shut off once activated by motion. There are other products go to sleep in minutes while wake up easily. The extra hours of lighting time would greatly cut down its battery life. Maybe the laser diodes requires longer time to turn off to actually save its longevity?

This is a genuine product from L3 and I can guarantee that because I had to return it. When I installed the optic on my DDM4V11 I noticed that the reticle was very very fuzzy. This was my first HWS so I thought maybe this was normal or it needed some adjusting. I adjusted the brightness and the way I aimed the new sight according to what I had read online. I was not pleased. The following day I sent an email to Eotech's customer service. Within an hour I got a response and a description of how to use the sight and how the reticle could be somewhat grainy due to it being a laser projected hologram. I followed all of the instructions about adjustment of the brightness and aiming methods. I was still very disappointed in the clarity of the reticle for a product that was north of $500! After doing some online research I realized from other customers pictures that there was clearly something wrong with my optic. I contacted customer service again and the promptly sent me a RMA#. 24 hours and $19 later, and my $525 Eotech is off to the manufacturer in Ann Arbor Michigan. I emailed Eotech 2 days after I got the delivery confirmation from USPS, and was told that my optic was in the repair department and the turn-around time for repairs is about 3 weeks. I will update the clarity of the optic when it is returned and I mount it and zero the reticle. If the EXPS2-2 is clear and the normal "graininess" that I have seen on others, I will be very satisfied. Until then, I cannot make an accurate review. I still believe I have made the best purchase over all of the red dot sights if my optic is repaired to operate properly. I can say that the shipping to me was fast from Amazon, and Eotech has excellent and responsive customer service. Indexing clips are awaiting a spot to be filled by my Eotech EXPS2-2....

Excellent optic. I replaced a much older Eotech 512 with this one on my S&W M&P 15. It's of course shorter. Took about 30 seconds to adjust the quick mount to the right tension. It co-witnesses exactly with my Troy folding BUIS. The adjustment buttons on the left side make it a lot more ergonomic friendly and a must-have should I wish to mount a magnifier in the future. On the other hand, my folding sight won't ever get in the way of them. As a firearms trainer for a private security contractor, I know Eotech will hold up to the shooting and handling my rifle is subjected to. If you want quality, you could do a lot worse than this optic for the same price. The optic itself is easy to use and sight picture fast to acquire. Be sure to read the instructions when adjusting the sight. Each click adjusts the sight 1/2" at 100 yards. That's 1/8" at 25. This allows more fine adjustment at long ranges. Good thing as the optic has a dot for 600 meters. Comes in an nice plastic hard case.

I added this item on my Shotgun for Hunting Turkey and ducks. It was very easy to install on a weaver rail and pretty simple to align the shot. It is very solid in build, you can tell it is build for military and law enforcement use. No complaints so far. Great value for the price.The model of this item is the Eotech EXPS2-2.You can find more info at the following link: item is made in the USA, it is not one of those knock offs products from China or Japan.
