I bought a used camper that had a different style stabilizer than my hitch used. I replaced the old set with this and it fits perfectly. All the hardware was already mounted in the correct holes, so I instantly knew i had all the correct nuts and bolts. It tooks only a few minutes to mount the brackets. I fully hooked up my trailer to the hitch and made the appropriate adjustements but i have not yet towed with them yet. However, the fit and finish was superb and I have full confidence when I take it on the road, these brackets will work great.

I was delighted to find this to replace my tongue mounts weak arms. It works great, I had to modify it by adding steel bushings since my Lance trailer measures 4-3-8†on the frame. Meaning I had to drop down 1 hole instead of using the right alignment point for the bottom bolt. So for the gap that existed I used a steel rolled bushing so that the two pieces didn’t begin bending in towards one another.The reason I gave it 3-stars is because the manufacturer must have missed mine in their QC check. If you look at the pic, you’ll notice that the bolt head which is trapped in that channel, so it can’t spin can actually spin in that channel because their machinery cut into the Straight channel just a little too much maybe by accident which allowed the bolt head to rotate. So you can’t tighten up the nut on the other side if it doesn’t hold your nut head still when it’s pressed against your frame. I was able to repair this myself by going and buying a grade 8 bolt that was slightly larger than these metrics that it come with in order for the head to be locked into that slightly poor manufactured upper hole otherwise, I’m happy with the quality of the product as far as being strong, but be sure you use some anti seize because it’s going to get wet and rust overtime

Good part is that these brackets worked well with my Equal-I-zer brand sway control hitch. I actually like them better than the original ones.The bad part was the bolts supplied with the kit didn’t fit the bracket.Fortunately the brackets worked well with 1/2†grade 8 bolts but that cost was another $50.00 from the local hardware store.
