This bundle is great. I made a couple permanent adjustments to fit just my car. And it is perfect even at highway speeds. I have a 16' canoe I use this for and it's not light haha and the blocks fit and ride great . Completely protects my ride and secures the canoe. I have no doubt this was the right purchase for me. See y'all on the rivers.

Four stars because they are not supplied with any instructions but after about 40 minutes effort we got the kit to work very nicely.

It works. If you have a junker of a car, then it doesn't really matter. It is advertised as being able to mount a canoe on your car roof, and it did.I ended up buying a proper canoe cross-beam carrier... a grain of sand got under the foam block and scratched the roof of my car.

Site says it comes with 2-18' strap with cam buckle, but dont believe it. It only comes with 1-18' strap with cam buckle. Was counting on that second strap for securing my canoe, but now I will either have to return this item or be forced to use another strap that I already have. The items seemed to be good quality, but I am still very disappointed about the missing strap that the listing promises.

These worked great for our tiny car (with no rack) and a rather large canoe. We drove to the boundary waters from Minneapolis without issues. The straps can be loud in the wind, but it kept the canoe very secure.

So far I've moved my canoe just 15 miles or so but I believe that I will be able to safely move the canoe roughly 350 miles before long (probably in warmer weather). I will take two lane 55 mph highways and avoid the interstate system to feel safer. I suspect that the foam blocks would not hold up to many uses but that is not my plan and new blocks without the straps are available at a modest price. My 2012 Chevy Impala was unable to use the two front straps because the metal hooks were too big to grab the engine's front sub-frame. Perhaps I could have bent the hooks to work with my car but I had another pair of straps that fit well. The 18' long center strap was long enough to wrap around the canoe and the car's roof with little length to spare (but the Impala is a relatively large car). The supplied straps look well made to me (unlike some other reviewers).
