I was wondering if it's just me, but I see others report this same problem. The needle takes forever to finally move. It stays on 0 even though engine temperature has risen to operating temperature. It finally jumps up there suddenly after 10 minutes or so and reads temperature fine after that. Some flaw delays its reading. The problem is defintely not my engine cooling system. It's this junk gauge I regret ordering. My return window has closed, which is disappointing. I would not buy this again.

Easy install. Shove the dongle through a hole and twist it around, you got accurate readings of how hot it's getting in here.

The thing worked great when I first installed it. For about a 2 or 3 weeks ago I'll look to see what the temperature is and the needle is on 0. I know it's hotter than 0 because I can drive for 30 minutes and the engine should be at operating temperature by that time. Soni keep driving and keeping an eye on the needle then it will jump up and start working. It doesn't happen all the time but here lately it's been doing more and more. I can only assume it will quit working all together someday soon. Then I'll have to purchase another temp. guage. It's just a huge inconvenience that you have to keep buying a product on Amazon until you find one that works like it's supposed to. Not only an inconvenience but aggravating as hell. Might think twice before purchasing this guage. Like most items I've bought that quits working before it's time, there won't be nothing done to correct the problem.
