I've set it up to ride in the bed of my truck for small time emergencies. The one thing I did do because I WANTED TO was spray it with a few layers of waterproofing (just because). I also coated the zipper to keep it moving smoothly and stop moisture from getting in. For a small bag it works well.

The bag works perfect for the purpose it was purchased for. It is a hockey team's med kit. A couple things, should be noted. The picture implies that the bag is firm with padded sides. It is not, it is a polyester bag - as the text describes.

This is a really good bag. I am able to use it as my sons emergency go bag for all his complex medical needs and it also fits his vent and suction machine very nicely. Not together but one or the other. Makes me have less bags to travel with.

Let me just say the reason I bought this bag was because it opens flat in two halves - which it does. What it doesn't have is anything to hold my supplies in place while I'm opening and closing it. What it does have is a set of stuff pockets and elastic loops anchored to the inside walls that make up the large panel sides. So, if I did load up both halves with supplies, I wouldn't be able to reach all those nifty pockets. In my opinion, it really is one of the poorest designed bags available. The material is pretty light weight and floppy but I was looking for light anyway. Oh, and it is orange, not the nice red in the picture. If the company reads these things - they should have taken the pocket panels and sewn them in the middle and made them capable of holding supplies in place. Then the many pockets would be reachable and everything would be kept in place.

This bag looks great on the outside. When you unzip it, it is very floppy and not a sturdy bag. The elastic and mess pockets are either too big or too small...didn't fit the needs of the items I was putting in the bag. A terrible designed bag.

Get bag. I have been looking for a First Aid bag for the car, I am a travelling nurse. This is fantastic. Great use of space, perfect size. This is the third bad that I have tried.
