I live in Florida. I know, it's Florida, but I'm acclimated to hot weather. I consider 40° and under hellish, and on top of a constant >75% humidity, it's bone chilling.That being said, this sucker keeps my face and ears very warm. It's thick and snug. You'll have the obvious problem of fogging glasses, but I've managed to configure the balaclava just under the glasses and when just right, avoid foggy glasses.There are a.few different ways you can wear it, but again, it's a little snug so I usually take it off if I'm not using it entirely.All in all, I love it.

You won't regret this one.. definitely keeps you warm. So far we've hit 10°F at night and I haven't felt a thing. The breath hole is key, it doesn't get wet like others.

First - let me start by saying that the fabric is thick enough to breathe through and thin enough that it feels comfortable (disregard the "Sheerness" rating feature).This product works great, I ordered two of these and some wool socks so I could continue my morning runs in the winter time. I like how they feel around my face, and I think that the neon green face cover provides an extra layer of protection when running in the mornings. It's not just a vibrant color - it's also reflective; therefore if anyone is driving with their headlights on you do not have to worry about going unnoticed. Would highly recommend for runners, skiers, & winter sports enthusiasts.

The concept works well. It is warm and generally comfortable. The bright yellow is helpful to add any bit of visibility. It's pretty quick to put on, and sealed around your head well enough to jump out into windy conditions. Compact enough to act as an underlay for another hat/hood or hardhat. Flare around neck tucked well into other clothes/coat. You can fit safety glasses through the cutout. Makes for decent head covering.My complaint would be in fitment. I have a large head, maybe just touching the top end of average - but certainly larger than the mean size. I found I could put the hood on and get it in place. The cap portion would creep off the top of my head as I moved around. I think this was the biggest area of mis-fitment, the crown of my head had a hard time keeping the cap in place. I probably ended up not using the cap portion as much as I could because of this creep, and using it more as a heavy neck gaiter. The material over my nose would pull tight against the tip of my nose, and cause discomfort after a while. I ended up modifying the cutout to create a dart down my nose to make some relief and tighten up the edge below my eyes. That worked better.I would recommend with the caveat about size/fitment. Order larger than expected.

I wear this when I snow blow my driveway or when it's extremely blustery as I walk or hike. When it's 12 degrees F with a wind chill factor of 0 it keep me warm. I'm only wearing the knit hat over it because it has Bluetooth so I can hear if someone is trying to reach me. It does fog up my goggles & I have to readjust it a little off my nose & mouth area. But I'm warm & safe from the elements,

It doesn’t fit as well as I’d hoped since when I wear with bottom piece under chin, ears aren’t filly covered. The material and especially black trim is a bit thicker then I was expecting, it is warm and wind proof so far but hasn’t been very cold yet. I bought lime colour, should of went with black though.

Provides perfect warmth. Love the flexibility to wear it over nose, over chin, under chin. I wear glasses, and I cut a slit in the mouth because glasses would fog weather I breathed through nose or mouth. Problem solved and very happy.

Soy una mujer de 1.55cm y al ponerme el pasamontañas no embona la nariz con la maya aprieta y en general esta muy justo el tamaño y eso que soy mujer, la calidad es buena, las costuras y los materiales pero puede ser incomodo cuando usas casco para la montaña.
