This lightweight and breathable impact-resistant shell easily inserts into any baseball cap, hat or other headwear for protection against bumps, scrapes, bruises and other minor head injuries.
With flexible sides and convenient trim-to-fit customization, this bump cap insert easily fits a variety of hats/caps and head shapes. The shell is made of lightweight, durable polyethylene with a ribbed top for stronger crown impact protection. All-over venting maximizes airflow for cool comfort, while an interior foam pad reduces impact without absorbing odors for fresh all-day wear.
Not bulky like a hard hat, bump caps are typically worn in spaces where worker-generated impact head protection is needed, like low ceilings, beams, low pipes and other bump hazards. This product has really nice quality. It’s also very versatile and it makes wearing hats look better. Also I really like how easy it is to apply to your regular baseball caps, you just put it on and when wearing it, it doesn’t make you feel hot s there is a lot of ventilation. Overall, you’d get the bang out of your buck with this product

I'm an insulation technician who works in attic spaces everyday and this has been a life saver. No longer feel anytime I hit a stud or a roofing nail while in tight crawlspace. Would recommend to anyone in a similar field as it saves alot of literal headaches.

This thing is great. It provides that extra bit of protection for when you're rummaging around in the attic or crawlspace, working under your car in the shop, or even riding your mower under low-hanging trees. It won't serve as a safety helmet, but for that unwary thump while fetching the Christmas tree out of the attic, it'll do nicely.It also keeps your cap looking SHARP! It fits right inside, and makes it look perfectly domed, so it looks really nice.Just be aware that despite the vent holes, it will definitely cook your noodle in hot weather. Once the temperature gets up around 70, you'll notice that things get moist up there. Around 80, and you'll get a steady drip of sweat rolling down your brim. Hotter than that, and you're looking for trouble. Also causes *really* bad hat hair, so keep a comb handy!

Just like it is advertised, the bump cap fits into any normal size baseball cap. The first half inch is trimmable like the pictures show. I needed to cut the trimmable part for my hat as it stuck out a little. I have a big head and it was able to fit me.

I use this everyday at work (John Deere) and for the price and durability you can’t ask for anymore than what they offer always leave it in my work hat and have a spare in my toolbox

My dad requests these as a yearly gift because he loves them more than anything he's used for his umpiring.This newer model is even lighter than the previous generation, and while he doesn't notice a huge difference in weight, he does think it seems more breathable due to the extra holes. Less head sweating in a ball cap.

I bought these because I was getting tired of getting hit in the head with little white plastic BBs. I wear a Dye i5 mask and a ball cap on backward, but that left a small part of my forehead exposed. I found these by mistake, but I'm so glad I did. I have one installed in a fitted ball cap that I wear backward. I put the insert in the hat backward because there is a cut-away section that lines up with your traditional adjustable baseball hats.Once I installed it in the ball cap it fit great, that hat really stands up and almost looks brand new. This might be a great way to display hats if your into that kind of thing. It keeps them up, and looking great.So does it work? Absolutely! Would I buy more? Yes, if I had more hats to put them in. I was hit in the forehead and the side of my head with airsoft BBS (PLASTIC NOT METAL). and no pain at all. My son decided to take it to a whole new level and whacked me with his PS4 remote.....no problem.I know these are meant for people working in tight spaces, but if you need something to protect your dome from dings and doinks, you can't go wrong with these. I've already had several people I play airsoft with go out and buy some of these and they love em too.
