I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Great, sturdy needles. I've used cheaper ones that break quickly with use, and I've had no issues with these. Great thickness, and value for the money.

Needles are smooth with blunt tip but not too blunt. Eye is large enough to thread my waxed linen with no issues

What you see in the pictures for this listing is not what you get. In the pictures the eyes look big but what you get are needles with very narrow eyes with sharp edges that will eat up your thread. The inside of each eye is filled with sharp edges. I tried to use them and the first one I used snapped in half

These needles are working decently well for me. I currently use them to saddle-stitch leather pieces (making wallets mainly). One minor issue is that some of the tips of the needles are pointy, and some are more blunt. I prefer the slightly pointed tip that around half of the needles came with, as it makes it MUCH easier to lock the threads onto. Over all, 20 needles for this low price is a definite value for money. I recommend these!

Very sturdy, tough enough to grab over and over with pliers to pull through really thick leather . No sharp point to dig into the leather. Very happy with these.

I needed good needles for weaving in ends in my crocheted doilies and the regular "finishing needles" are too thick. These work perfectly and are not too sharp. Great for this purpose!
