Take the Wallace review with a grain of salt, he seems more interested in validating himself and listing off all his gear than providing a useful review.Though meant for a baritone guitar, these work great on a shorter scale guitar tuned to drop A.You'll need to take your axe down to a guitar tech to have the nut replaced or shimmed (raised by a piece of wood under nut) and also filed in order to take these. On top of that you'll need to tweak the truss rod and bridge. If you've got a good shop in town, it's no big deal. So $25-50 bucks just so you can have your guitar take a set of strings like these or the thickest DR DDT.After stringing these up I plucked the 6th string and it rang load, resonated through the guitar and made me smile as the string resonated in my own chest. Having the 72 is the big difference here, It holds tension better at drop A than say a 65.These can be a bit of a work out as far as playing, but that should go without saying... get used to it.TL;DR I can't provide info for use on a baritone, but if you have a 24.75 scale guitar that you want to dedicate to drop A or B standard, these are spectacular sounding. You'll need to modify your guitar in such a way that keeps you stuck with huge strings unless you want to modify again to get back to standard. Worth it, if you're certain that's where you want to be tuned or you have several guitars and want to dedicate one to this tuning.

Nice on the fingers, nice on the ears. I got these as an experiment just to see what it was like, and had to file down my guitar on the string channels on head so I could use these strings. Took less than fifteen minutes with a 1/16 inch round file I found at home depot for $7. Make sure you clean the channel after widening.I am currently keeping my guitar tuned to G standard (G C F A# D G) and it's really fun playing around in such a low register. I haven't yet figured out what the lowest note I can play (while sounding good), but it goes LOOOOOOW. These chunky MFers are gonna give you every bit of low end you want, but if you don't want to alter your guitar, these strings will not be for you.Another thing to keep in mind is that these will very rigidly lock you into a low register, since tuning these too high would absolutely destroy the neck of your guitar. I would suggest putting these on your second guitar, and keep your daily player with your more typical strings.Know what you're getting into going in and these strings will treat you quite nicely.

Not sure why people seem to be having trouble with these on the SB6. I did replace the vibrato on mine with a fixed plate, not sure if that's making a difference. The outer winding is a little long on the lowest string but not a problem in actual use. Tuned B to B on a 30" scale they make this guitar way more playable than it was off-the-shelf tuned E-E. And the price is just crazy low, $10? Insane. Why a set of 4 bass strings is $20+ when these are less than half is a mystery I can live without solving.

Great for a 27” baritone in drop G! Mad chugs. Good stuff.

Several reviews state that these strings are not long enough for Squire and Fender Bass VI.I have used these strings on both models with no issue at all. They are definitely long enough and have length to spare for these guitars. The price is right and as alwaysyou can't beat Ernie Ball quality and sound. You won't regret this purchase.

Ernie balls are legendary, but requires you to change strings every so often, had mine on and still on a month later with heavy playing , it’s still has plenty of brightness you get from new strings, I’m guessing with heavy playing and so on they’ll probably last about 90 days , maybe more depending on your preference, I play my Bass VI like there a guitar , I have no sympathy for those who think a bass guitar in general can’t play like a guitar, I play the hell out my bass VI’s and I’m only an octave below a guitar.

Might be fine for regular length guitars but not baritones. Weird, since they’re “baritone” strings. Tried two sets. Nope.

特に.074が短すぎてペグに届かず使えなかった。こちらは明記してあるがポールエンドが普通のギターのものなのでベースのブリッジでは止めれないので注意。
