This is *the* juice for electric guitars. The only other guitar polish I've ever used was from the most famous American guitar manufacturer and that milky stuff always left a haze on the surface. That made me think that polishing a guitar was not a good thing to do! Ernie Ball's polish cleaned the dirty gunk (sorry, but that's reality for hard playing punk rockers) and left a clear shiny finish. I have a Telecaster Modern Player and this polish makes it look like a beautiful slab of cold smoked salmon. This works well not only on the the wood but the chrome is shiny without being too slippery. The cloth is just what is needed, and it's important to get a fresh cloth with each bottle. This is now my go-to gift for fellow guitarists! p.s.: I tried to take a pic but it's too shiny and I polished it a week ago which is two jams ago!

I don't write many reviews, but I wanted to share my thoughts on this instrument polish. I'm a seasoned life-long musician and I have an acoustic guitar I feared the finish was toast on. I had used a different wood polish with only minor improvement. The Ernie Ball polish brought the finish back up to 100% with very little elbow grease. Kudos Ernie Ball. I'll swear by this stuff looking forward.

"Ernie Ball Instrument Polish with Microfiber Polish Cloth" Shines up instruments quite well, easily, and very quick. Smells okay. I tried a couple different brands of polish and they required a lot more work. On the contrary, this brand of instrument polish is the only one I am happy to use. Very effective.

I use this on my Gretsch and a Fender acoustic and it is super shiny and feels like it has a coating. I also use it on a Les Paul studio with a wood fininsh and it works great. It is fine for necks but I would recommend a neck oil for that BUT it is OK if you don't want to buy twice.

Polish - Works well, gave my guitars a nice glossy shine, and left the surface feeling smooth. The formula seems somewhat mild, it doesn't have a strong smell or a thick consistency, which I would say is a positive. Better too mild than too harsh. Not to say it doesn't work - it does, and it left a nice thin coating too.Cloth - Nice microfiber cloth, I have one I use with the polish and another just for wiping my guitars down after use.It picks up grime and dust off gloss surfaces really well and doesn't scratch at all. Just make sure you wash it every once in a while so dust can't build up in it.Just one little nitpick - the other one I have is from a few years ago and this newer one is a bit smaller. (14"x14" vs 12"x12") Not a big deal though, I still like both these products and would recommend them.

Have an older Franciscan that has seen better days. This stuff definitely got her polished up nicely and the cloth is really good quality too.

This is necessary for your instruments that don’t have a lacquer finish. My acoustic, like most, has a nitrocellulose finish. The spray polish I use for it is made by another familiar brand and it has Brazilian wax it, so I use it for a gloss finish. This polish will do fine on glossy finish and I have used it at times but it is the only thing I use on matte finish, semi-gloss finish, or any finished instrument. If I’m not sure about a finish, I use Ernie Ball because it is safe for all finishes and makes anything polish up to its best condition. It is the only thing I use on my ukulele and after using it for a few months I can tell that the wood is much better looking than it did when I bought it. It is definitely hydrated it and actually keeps it hydrated even though it is 25% humidity in the house during winter. I use it on parts of my acoustic and violin that don’t have nitrocellulose such as the back of the guitar neck. If you have any instruments, you need a polish that can be used on any finish. No instrument is totally coated with nitrocellulose. I wax my acoustic twice a year so this polish will make it shiny as well as the polish for gloss and it actually doesn’t reveal fingerprints as much as the other polish. Wax has a little adhesive properties. And good price. I have spent more on just a microfiber cloth. The cloth is good too. Can never have too many.

I received my first one from a nonprofit that I took some classes from. It maintains my guitar very clean.

Die Politur riecht gut und poliert ohne Schlieren und Streifen, so wie es sein soll! Die Gitarre erstrahlt wieder im neuen Glanz. Eben Ernie Ball.

I'm not too picky, but when I use these things on my more expensive instruments, I usually get paranoid over scratching the paint and leaving marks. The polish itself does great once you buff it out after a good rub down with a couple sprays. However, the cloth, I noticed, does leave a few bits of lint hanging around to the paint. It's nothing major, but I did take notice of it.Thankfully, it brushes off with no real harm done. I would have gone for the ultra-thick version if I knew it would be like that. For the money spent, I wouldn't say it's a bad deal considering you can buy that Dunlop 65 polish/lemon oil in almost any guitar shop for £5 each, which can get pricey if you go through a lot (not likely), but for a 4 fl.oz bottle? You'll be keeping it for a while. The only thing that made me feel truly dirty inside was I used Ernie Ball polish on a Fender guitar. As a guy who keeps it as true to the brand as possible, this clash didn't sit too right with me, but the result afterwards was not half bad.
