This product is a large felt and fabric scapular depicting the death of Jesus. Most scapulars are much smaller and are worn discreetly under the clothing, but this one is rather large and colorful. It is high quality and made with great materials, with decorative stitching and a beautifully braided rope between the two squares.This scapular is used in certain ceremonies in Mexico, a friend told me that this is often used at funerals. It is large enough to be put on display and can certainly be worn, even under the clothing like a regular scapular, but it is very large and a little heavier than usual.Overall it's a beautiful religious piece with dramatic, colorful imagery and a traditional design. Absolutely beautiful!
