Best hand lens ever made. I got my first one from a friend of my dad's in Germany more than 20 years ago. Optical quality is amazingly clear, field of view is super-wide. I can never go back to the triplet's narrow field, and distorted image. I am a field geologist, and do a lot of field work, and that hand lens went everywhere with me. Rivers, deserts, jungles, beaches. As I said, it lasted more than 20 years of abuse. I never was careful as to where I left it, or if it wet or sandy. Didn't matter. To this day it still closes sharp. I finally had to retire it last year, as one of the lenses came loose and came off in the middle of a storm, and landed in a creek. Lost. Broke my heart. Too bad is out of production.

Excellent 10x loupe with very clear and undistorted optics. Also has a wider field of view (23mm) than most 10x loupes.

This hand lens works well. I keep it on a lanyard and use it for field botany. I purchased the Eschenbach 1182-10 10x, 23mm Aplanatic Magnifier on March 22, 2022. After a year, one of the lenses fell out onto the ground. Later, the other lens fell out in my pocket. I will attempt to glue back together, but that’s not what I expected from a $119 hand lens.

High quality optic providing edge to edge clarity and solid construction. I find 8x to be the Goldilocks balance between the more common 10x and a grader’s 5x. For most a good loupe is a once in a lifetime investment and not something to be skimped upon.

Wonderful loupe at a bargain price! This version uses less expensive materials in the case but the lens are equal to their best models.

Fulfils it's function for closer inspection of numismatic coins. A little disappointed in the packaging of the product but otherwise I am satisfied.

I love this! I have gone through several different brands, all weren't good. Decided to get the more expensive one, and it was a great choice! Well worth the money.

La lente si presenta molto solida e di ottime caratteristiche di durabilità . L'ingrandimento è come descritto molto chiaro e con una resa cromatica buona. La spedizione è stata un po' lenta. Nel complesso la soddisfazione è completa.
