Got these for my husband who has GA/AMD . He was practically on top of the 55†tv in order to see it. He said people’s mouths look like they were sewn up, or missing. With these glasses, he is sitting on the couch which is across the room from the tv and seeing well!He says he needs to look straight ahead , but it’s not uncomfortable.I tried them and thought they were pretty great! I however, don’t have any blind spots as he does.Things looked very clear, and larger. We think they were well worth the price. They came from Japan and although they were delayed at customs, it didn’t take that long to get them. Maybe two weeks. There is a “restocking fee “ if you return them. Be sure to check it out!

Glasses were of no help in letting my mother see the TV. There is very little adjusting on each lens-not at all like a pair of binoculars. They were very cheaply made. If they would have helped her to see TV, I could have overlooked the low quality. They were not worth the large amount of money they cost. I have returned the glasses and I am waiting for my money to be returned.

I have macular degeneration and have been wearing these glasses for17 years. This was only my second pair - they are well made and allow me to watch tv almost perfectly

These work fine for my AMD wife to watch some TV, but they are too fragile for an elderly, semi blind person. I buy new glasses for her every 5 or 6 months. The temple frame breaks, specifically the right hinge point on the main frame. That has happened 5 times in a row. Also, the movable lens comes loose to easily, but that I have been able to compensate for. If there was any other choice, I would go for it, but as I said these work for her until the frame breaks.

Do Not Buy This Product. It simply does not work. You need to be at one specific distance to get any enhanced view and that's not practical...and the company that sells it does not stand behind it. When I called to tell them that my disabled father could not benefit from them and they did not work well they started arguing with me and telling me that they would not give me a full refund even if the product was defective. I shipped at my expense it back and took a "restocking" fee loss. In the end, between shipping and their restocking fee I took a 25% loss on a product that did not work. Do Not Make The Same Mistake That I Did! Avoid this company and avoid this product.

The adjustable part of these glasses is great, but they are not very comfortable to wear for very long at all. The hard molded plastic at the bridge of the nose quickly becomes painful and annoying to the point that you just have to take them off!! And the ear pieces dig into the sides of your head. With just a little bit more thought, these could have been spectacular - with rubber pads on the nose pieces and some kind of padding at the ear pieces as well. However, I really do love being able to see when I could not before!!!

I bought these locally for a bit more money for my Dad. I was happily surprised to see the identical branded glasses on Amazon for quite a bit less money. Compare prices. You will see.

Got these for my Dad who suffers from Macular Degeneration. I didn't have sufficient reviews or info to be sure that these would work. However I had to try. He received them a few days ago and called me immediately very pleased. He said the adjusters were a little difficult for tender hands but that with a little patience he got them adjusted to suit him. We concluded that some difficult adjusting for him was well worth the fact that once adjusted these stayed adjusted. It is hard to relate just what an improvement in life these "Eschenbach MaxTV Glasses" have made in this mans life. He is elated as to how he can now enjoy TV so much more now. He can also see the TV in his bedroom and see things around the house much better if he wishes.NOTE: These have a limited field of view, that is side to side and up and down. Dad wanted me to make sure and advise against trying to stand or walk around with binocular glasses on. Although, knowing him, he may have tested that to some extent.Thank You Eschenbach for such a wonderful thing.
