The cable assembly arrived as pictured, so it wouldn't be fair to be too harsh. I knew when I ordered that it was just wire and connectors. It is indeed wire and connectors. Without that context, it gets maybe a two, three at most. The wire is attached to the connector on each end without additional support. No cable grip or heatshrink. Even new they look like they're already in danger of wearing through, so I'd rebuild before trusting to serious duty.

It functions as described. The protective coating was thicker then I expected, which was a nice boon.
