These feel sturdy, though I wouldn't want to use them on hard soil - the metal capped ones would better there, or even an old drill with a spade bit. These work fine in my raised beds, and in container soil or soil that has been tilled. The orthogonal handle is nice - it could be a little bit bigger for my hands (I wear extra large gloves) but it's still a helpful feature.

Not until I checked out did I see that it would take almost two months to get to me. They ARE very sturdy and big and thick, but almost TOO much so for any small seeds and houseplants. These are like the GODZILLAS of dibblers! Way to big for any or the seeds I grow.

The only thing I wish was better was that the measurements were easier to read.

Excellent. Just push dibbler in soil-- drop seed and cover it with soil. PERFECTO!!
