What Is Borosilicate Glass
Borosilicate is stronger than traditional "soda-lime" glass. Due to the natural properties of boron particles, glass can be held more tightly together, resulting in stronger, lighter glass. Borosilicate glass doesn't need to be as thick as traditional glass to be just as strong.

Bought these for our new Nespresso machine and they work great! The double lined glass keeps the outside cool to the touch while keeping the espresso hot. It holds single and double espresso shots perfectly. Haven’t tried a triple shot… I don’t need that much caffeine but it seems it can hold an extra shot as well!

These espresso cups appear to be well made and are attractive. I appreciate the double walled glass. The outside does not get very warm, yet the coffee stays hot/warm longer than in my ceramic cups. The handle size is good, too. I can easily get two fingers in, and it is comfortable to hold that way. They also fit very well in my De'Longhi Essenza Mini espresso machine. I wash the cups in the dishwasher with no problems so far. I will also say they came very well packaged for shipping.My only real complaint is the size. I should’ve noted that more carefully before ordering. These “espresso cups†hold 6 ounces (right to the lip) - which means they technically can hold six shots of espresso. A typical espresso shot is one fluid ounce; a lungo (or “longâ€) cup holds twice as much at two ounces. See my photo of the three cup types together: a lungo, this cup, and an espresso shot cup. I would call these small coffee cups, rather than large espresso cups. My photos of the cup show a lungo pour. Since I don’t ever add anything to my espresso drink that's how I think of an espresso cup. However, I know that many cappuccino cups come in a six-ounce size -- so perhaps these are designed for that purpose. If your preference is to enjoy specialty cups of espresso including cappuccino, then these may be the perfect size for you.Overall I can recommend these cups with the understanding that they are fairly large for espresso cups.

La tasse ne contient pas 170 ml à l’intérieur,donc trop petite pour moi je l’ai retournée.Je vais commander plus grandes
