I love this little set. Exactly what I was looking for and the brother is amazing as it also heats the milk if you'd like. Fairly easy to clean. Nice addition to my never ending quest for a superb cup of Joe! I think I found it.You can add a little flavored coffee creamer along with the milk to add flavor or perhaps make it sweeter, it will still froth up nicely. It also comes with 2 scoopers and an extra whisk piece for the frother in case the original one needs replacing.

I was leery, but this thing is so inviting! Espresso, frothy milk at the push of a button. I did read the reviews that said they received a used item, it broken after a time, but I went ahead anyway. Filled it with coffee nd milk, and it didn't work right out of the box.

It does take some time to figure out how to make a good cup but worth it in the end. I am not a coffee expert but this is what has worked for me. I drink the whole amount and it only makes one cup but it is a larger coffee mug size. Maybe that is normal two cappuccinos if cups were standard size. What I learned:I use illy coffee and so far my favoriteI heat the water before placing it into the Moka pot.I fill and level the coffee but don’t pack itI take it off the heating element when it starts to sputter at the end of the brewing processI heat the milk using the line for heating itPour out some of the heated milk into the mug and then return some of the milk to froth.Careful to clean the frothing lid right away or it will quickly smell like spoiled milk. I think it holds it in that rubber seal.The pot takes time to cool off before you can make another pot.Plan on it taking a bit of time but wow, what a smooth cup of coffee. Perhaps this is all basic for the non newb but thought I would pass it along in case it helps others get a jump start to their coffee nirvana

I bought this espresso/coffee maker and it's my first espresso-type machine purchase. The base plugs into an outlet and is electric. The first time use they suggest brewing 3 batches to throw out and you do have to wait for the device to cool between each brewing due to needing to unscrew the pot from the boiler base by hand.The instructions could be more clear and are very basic on how to get the machine to work and what the pieces are, but very clear on how to clean since it's electric. For a first timer like myself I had to Google some things like the best coffee grounds to use (the instructions advise medium ground coffee for espresso makers, but most ground coffee for espresso makers is fine for better flavor) and I ended up getting a few different kinds of coffee. It really depends on your preference and moka pot coarse grounds work just as well as fine ground (I also am not an espresso expert).Its quick and it's quiet too, the milk frothers lid really cuts down the noise. The silicone gasket and disk are already in the pot and no instructions are given on how to remove them to clean them, but I used the edge of the handle of one of the scoops it comes with to lift up the edge of the gasket and it easily came out and was able to easily be put back in. The gasket can only go in one way, so no mistakes with putting it back in.Overall, I am happy with my purchase and enjoy using it because it is quick and easy and perfect for my self and "one cup" basically. It has options for 3 or 6 espresso shots, also and I always use the 6 full option for a "regular" cup of coffee/latte.

Me and my husband are addicted to this machine. It prepares better coffee than professional coffee shops! It's got a great value as well! If you obey the instructions, there shouldn't be any leakage and it's easy to clean.

I have used many types of products to create the perfect coffee and this one is the far best one.It is a lot quicker and the machine creates the best frothy milk!I recommend this to everybody who likes quick and simple, yet delicious coffee :)(Milk is not supposed to be hot!!!)

Bought this as a Christmas present, however when it arrived it did not have a 3 plug pin and was not acceptable for UK use. Ruined Christmas present. Absolutely gutted as other reviews seemed to be good.
