EDIT: ESR's customer service is solving the issue I had, so I'm bumping this back up to 5 stars.I'm a perfectionist when it comes to screen protectors, so much so that I genuinely have anxiety about applying them because I know it's going to be a struggle to get it centered with no hairs or bubbles underneath. If you're the same way, I can safely say that ESR's screen protectors (at least the ones that come with these special application trays) eliminate all of that anxiety. The application process is dead simple. To start, you run the shower in the bathroom for a couple minutes— not part of the official instructions, but I like to do that to keep floating dust particles out of the equation— then attach the screen protector to the tray. It literally snaps in, so there's no wiggle room to make you question whether or not you've got it in the right place. Then, the iPad goes in. The point where the protector attaches to the tray actually acts as a sort of hinge, so you can pull it back and use the included cleaning kit to get off any oils or dust. While the protector is "hinged" off of the iPad, you remove the sticker labeled "1", lay the protector down to the aligning pin on the other side of the tray, and run your finger across the bottom. The rest is magic. After a couple seconds, you can work any big air bubbles off to the sides, and finally remove the "2" labeled sticker for your finished product.Pros:- No wiggle room for error in alignment- Includes everything you need to clean and prep your iPad- Comes with 2 protectors in case something goes horribly wrong with the first attempt- High quality glass that looks and feels good to make you feel more secure about your iPad's screenCons:- Increased glare (see pictures of before and after), but you get that with any glass screen protector. Apple's original coating is just superior in eliminating glare- A good amount of plastic in the application tray and packaging, but it is at least reusable- Personally, mine had a small imperfection in the glass. It looks like a bubble, but doesn't act like one, and there's nothing underneath to create the spot. Thankfully, it's not very noticeable when the screen is onEven with the imperfection, which I took off a star for, I'd still highly recommend ESR's easy-application screen protectors. It just gives me the peace of mind that everything is going to work out and look nice in the end. There is an added glare, but that comes with the territory with tempered glass screen protectors. Colors look just as vibrant underneath, unlike more matte screen protectors, so if you watch or play a lot of content on your iPad, this kind is a must.

I don't have much other to say than this has been a really, really nice screen protector. This is the first time owning a new iPad, and this screen protector has been perfect for it, from using in industrial areas at work, to drawing on. I still have one as a spare (It came in a two pack), and it was INSANELY easy to install with near-perfect results. No air bubbles of any kind, and the alignment is basically square on.Also, absolutely zero interference with Face ID with the cutout for the sensor array. Take note if you're an artist, this is a smooth glass display. Good for viewing content (I didn't notice any degradation in display quality or brightness), but it'll feel the same as using an Apple Pencil on just the stock smooth glass.Looking at the magnetic paper-like display cover this company sells that can apparently go over top this glass screen protector, though! Excited to see how that goes! This is a solid option for a screen protector for the M4 13" iPad Pro!

After spending so much money on the new iPad Pro, and as fragile as it feels, one of the first things I wanted to do was add a glass screen protector. I’ve used ESR in the past for other accessories so when I saw they sold a screen protector for the latest iPads and offer the crucial application tray, I was happy to buy it. I went with the Armorite version as I want the best quality and durability and don’t mind paying a few more dollars for something that likely will last for the life of the iPad. Installation is obviously the hardest part, environment and air quality are the most important factors, so I applied mine in the bathroom after having some steam built up to help knock any dust or particles out of the air. After cleaning the iPad, the application tray makes the process so easy, giving me a perfectly lined up install. The only issue I had was a few little bubbles and some dust under the glass (not a fault of the product.) Personally, I ran the risk of the slightly lifting up the edges and sliding the dust removal sticker under the glass until I removed the few trapped pieces of dust I had. There were a few bubbles under the glass but I was able to easily press them out and it only took a few minutes and they never came back so I’m not sure why people knock the product for bubbles when it’s very hard to install any screen protector without needing to press out bubbles (especially on one this large.) The install ended up coming out perfect and I now have an extra screen protector in the event that this one ever gets damaged. The only two slight cons I noticed is that the glass appears to be a lot more reflective than the original glass, and it also adds a slight RGB looking filter on the screen (imagine the rainbow you’d see on a wet oil slick or what most plastic screen protectors look like) It’s not really something you’ll notice but going from no screen protector, to adding one, I did notice the image is slightly less sharp, but it’s only noticeable on white backgrounds. It does slightly take away from the new iPad’s beautiful screen but it’s a trade off I’m willing to make for added protection of that beautiful and very expensive screen. I also find it does a better job of not collecting finger prints and feels nicer to glide your finger across than the original glass. I think this is a great screen protector for the money, mostly due to the application tray which makes the process very easy. But the most important key to a perfect installation is the prep working of having the screen perfectly clean, and having the best environment, free of dust and debris in the air. If there are any bubbles you should be able to press them out. I just wish it didn’t have that slight distortion to the clarity of the screen that I don’t think I’ve gotten from other screen protectors.

The screen is easy to apply and works well. That's a lot of screen to protect to not get any large bubbles. Much better than the getting a display wet and using a card to squiggee out the fluid and air days. The only drawback is there are a couple marks on the screen insert from the packaging. Maybe they could change how they box the parts to prevent this.

Sehr schlau gemacht.

This is a welcome addition to my iPad Pro M4 11 inch but one that I nearly didn't make when I read the various negative reviews. Thankfully, my experience was very different. The fitment could not have been easier once I'd read the enclosed instructions and watched the referenced videos. The result, a bubble and dust free perfect fit with the protector covering most of the screen other than a lip around the edges to accommodate a case. Mine being the Pitaka MagEZ Folio 2 and the ESR Shift Magnetic. The screen does not appear to have a detrimental impact on viewing the Ultra Retina XDR screen, neither does it affect the sensitivity of the screen, especially when using the Apple Pencil Pro.In summary, this is a robust screen protector, which is easy to apply providing you follow the iprovided instructions. The result, a perfect bubble free fit which complements the iPad without sacrificing any of the functionality.
