I purchased this in 2023 and it is holding up really well! It's on the back of my laptop, on top. Sometimes I put a hard drive in it and plug it into the laptop; sometimes I put in small documents that I am working with and tote my laptop around with them in there. This has been a fabulous purchase. I'm tempted to buy a second one to put my small notebook in and my hard drive. And Carry them around with The laptop all the time. Obviously I would buy it again.

This thing works great! I am a photographer and have it attached to the back of my laptop to hold my hard drive. It saves me a ton of space !

Grips my SD drive well and it does not slip. If your SSD drive isn’t too big then I recommend this.

As someone who needs an external hard drive hooked up to my laptop a lot of the time, this definitely improved my life a lot. With this stuck to the metal lid of my laptop, I can pick up my computer and carry it around without worrying about holding onto the hard drive and making sure it stays plugged in, which is super nice. The adhesion is ridiculously strong, so you don't have to worry about it ever coming off.My only problem with it is that the fabric of the pouch is too weak, meaning its elastic isn't strong enough to hold onto a slippery item like a smooth plastic hard drive, so I had to wrap a few thick rubber bands around my hard drive to make it grippier (that fixed the problem though). I also worry about the fabric getting damaged over time since it's so thin and it juts out, but time will tell on that

Great for photographers so their hard drives don’t have to dangle! I’ve removed it and restuck it to my laptop three times now and hasn’t lost its stickiness, it’s VERY strong adhesive. Easy to put on, I love it!

The pocket is... looser than I expected. You can see in my photos that the top edge of the stretchy fabric is loose enough to gap at the opening. (I removed the SSD and pulled the rubber band away in the second pic so you can see this gap is not a caused by the item or my modification)The fabric gives no tension/resistance and my SSD (Sandisk extreme) slips out easily with even minor movement, like closing, carrying, and taking my computer in/out of my bag. Gravity will keep things in the pocket if dont do any of those things, but in that case I suggest you save yourself a few bucks and just set your drive on your desk. Not sure if I got a dud or if this is how it’s supposed to be, but the pocket edge doesn’t look like this in the product photos so I assumed the fabric would be attached to the back piece with enough tension to lay flat and “hug” whatever is put in there.I was also intending to keep some USB sticks in it, but it’s definitely not secure enough for that!I’m keeping it though, because I found a fix that seems to at least secure my SSD well enough — a strong rubber band around the whole pocket, near the opening. This adds enough tension to keep the SSD from falling out and doesn’t affect adhesion at all. I used alcohol and a microfiber cloth to remove dust and grease from my computer surface and the silicone backing sticks strong even over the rubber band. The rubber band will, however, loosen over time and eventually break, so I’ll have to keep a close eye on that.(A piece of elastic inserted inside that top edge of the fabric would be a better, more durable solution, but I can’t see a way to do this without probably ruining the pocket.)I’m not going to keep USB sticks in there as planned until I thoroughly test (at home) if the rubber band reliably keeps them from falling out. Maybe I’ll add a second rubber band for good measure...

I have an iPad Pro 12.9, an Apple Magic Keyboard, a SanDisk 1TB Extreme Portable SSD, and an Anker 7-in-1 USB C Hub. It is a perfect configuration for my on-the-go lifestyle.I needed something to securely "carry" the SanDisk and Hub so they would not dangle about. This carrying case was perfect. It securely attaches to the back of the Apple Keyboard and I then slide the SanDisk and Hub into it, There is even room for my Bluetooth mouse. The elastic sleeve holds everything securely.

This portable hard drive laptop pouch is great. No need to find a space on a desk or random place to forget it anymore. The cord also fits. The hard drive does not slip out whether the laptop is upright or laying down. I just connect the cable while still in the pouch. The pouch an easily be removed if needed.
