I was incredibly and pleasantly surprised at the quality of this puffer jacket! It's super lightweight and not too bulky, perfect to wear during southern Texas winters and chilly mornings/days in the mountains. The quality feels comparable to other premium priced outdoor brands, but I won't have a heart attack if this jacket gets lost at school (or any of the other random things kids to do ruin their clothes!)My daughter was SO excited and loved the floral pattern - I was worried it would be too busy in person, but it is actually really lovely. I did buy an XL, my daughter generally wears a true L in girls sizes (10/12) but I find some of the Amazon items for children run about a size small. So glad I sized up! It allowed enough room she can layer a sweater or hoodie, but it's by no means huge on my daughter. The arm length is a tad long, but her fingers poke out the sleeves. So I would say expect a slimmer fit (or buy the boys version which isn't so slim cut). But I definitely would recommend! Watch sales, I got my daughter for only $11!

Ordered Pink Ombre. It's much more neon than pictured, but my toddler loves it and wants to wear it so 5 stars just for that. 3t was perfect for my 2.5 year old. I don't plan on more than one season so I just get her usual size. This coat is roomy and lightweight, perfect for layering. I plan to get these in every size going forward. Especially if they are on sale. Thank you!Update: ordered another one this year (floral). Beautiful colors and I love dark navy base for practical reasons. XS was perfect for 3.5 yr old. I love that it's not bulky and sleeves aren't tight. Fits easily over bulky hoodies.

Warm, lightweight and cute jacket perfect for chilly temperatures. I needed something lighter than a winter coat for my girls but needed to keep them warm during our cold springtime in MN. The colors are pretty too! It can be scrunched into a backpack easily.

I've always bought North Face down or down-alternative coats for my 6 yr old daughter - I prefer thin coats that can be worn in the car seat safely and layered for warmth if needed. I was pleased to find this coat in her favorite colors at a more-than-reasonable price and figured that if it didn't work for us I could always donate it. Our winters are relatively mild - it gets down into the teens and twenties a few days, but most of the time it's in the thirties - and she's worn it out to play in the little bit of snow we've had so far. We visited a local walk-through outdoor light display over the winter holidays and she stayed nice and toasty in the 35-degree temps. I'm very happy with the purchase, and will definitely buy again when it's time to size up. I purchased a size S (she's just starting to wear 7/8), and I expect she'll be able to continue to wear it next fall, too.

Bright color brings positivity looks great but seems too thin. Good for light jacket times on spring but I wouldnt expect too much we warmth in winter. You can't expect a 4-5 year old to tell u if it's indeed warm for the weather. Didn't use. Unkown if it's lightweight and warm or not so warm.

Lightweight. Good quality. Exactly what I was looking for, for my daughter. It even comes with a small pouch you can stuff it in. The picture does not do it justice. It is a pretty jacket. My daughter loves it.
