Amazon Essentials Men's Regular-Fit Crewneck T-Shirts, Long-Sleeve.I really like these shirts. The sleeves fall short of my wrists, which I like. They have a chest pocket. I also got them one side larger than normal for me. I wear them as a casual “go to the store†shirt like the website illustration or sometimes as a PJ top. They are always soft and comfortable (my wife has commented on the softness of the shirt!).How much do I like these? I bought a blue and maroon and a week or so later I bought another blue and a heather shirt. Yes they are worth the money and seem to be a really good buy. I have waited weeks to write this review so I would know they hold up after multiple laundry cycles. No complaints!

I ordered this in a large along with a Hanes brand in a medium to do a side by side comparison. Both were worn for a time before wash (the Amazon Essentials for several days, the Hanes for two or three). I'm a sliver under 5'7" and approx @ time of review 148lbs.The Amazon Essentials was slightly big on me out of the bag, as I expected, but I'd been uncertain about shrinkage and my default is to get large.Normally I like these kind of shirts more loose than tight. The Amazon essentials was at a size that was literally on the line of "almost too big for me" and "I could live with this for sleeping purposes and around the house" Fortunately it did shrink in length in the sleeves and at the waist where it really fits close to perfectly (still loose, but the visual would be difficult to pin as 'too big'). I have the ever so slightest of fabric bunching at the chest along the where the top of the sleeves meet, but as I stated, it's almost unnoticeable (really only by my attentive eye) and overall the shirt fits comfortably and appears to be well stitched with good quality material. There was not color fade that I could detect (dark navy) and I did dry it on a hot (not delicate material) setting in the dryer.It states it was made in Vietnam, if that is of interest. I will order another after finishing this review.As a side note in comparison, the Hanes I ordered was only available in a medium (which worried me) and out of the bag was tighter than i normally like (not skin tight, but tight for a person who likes their clothes slightly loose fitting. Fortunately after washing and drying there was almost no shrinkage (it's a 60-40 blend) and absolutely zero color-fade. Although it was slightly more snug, the material and stitching was well done to the extent I could do the backhand internal stretch technique carefully (hand and arm under shirt while wearing it, push out at chest and various areas slowly and carefully with back of hand). I can tell the tightness would be more beneficial for the cooler nights we get here in the south during the winter and would be sufficient to wear with or without a light hoodie or jacket.I'd say the quality side by side is almost identical, with the Hanes only slightly ahead due to deep color and perhaps slightly better material and was only under $8.00 u.s.d at another WeLL known MART with a strong online presence.Finally; the MAIN description I am reading above my review and on the main page does not mention it having a pocket, but it does (as mentioned in the detail description) just in case someone might overlook it.

I always find myself surprisingly pleased with the Amazon Essentials products. These shirts are extremely well made with substantial quality fabric and good color selections. A note about size: I'm a true medium but ordered large because I wanted a roomier fit. That's exactly what I got. The neck and shoulders fit my medium frame perfectly but the body is cut a bit fuller and longer than a regular medium t-shirt would be... buuuutt, someone looking for a true to size large will likely find the shirt tight and too small.

Every time I put this shirt on I tell myself I'm going to go back and write a review so other don't make the same mistake.Pros: Very soft thick cotton. Warm and comfortable Should fit OK for someone a lot shorter than me. Could be a good value for the right person.Cons: Length and sleaves are too short for a tall slim person. First I ordered an X-large based on reviews. The length and sleaves were OK but the body was way too wide and baggy for me, so I gave it away. Then I ordered a large which is what I normally wear. The sleaves and length were too short for me but the body was good. I still wear them but half my forearms show and my stomach often is exposed when sitting. They shrink a lot after washing in cold water. The hem curls up at the bottom which makes it even shorter. I try to correct it, but it won't stay.Then my sister gave me a long sleave T-shirt from REI. The large fit just right! But then it probably cost three times as much as this one.

I bought this shirt to wear underneath a heavy wool sweater. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the shirt I received. The fabric is very soft, smooth and tightly knit. It is thicker than I was expecting given its price. I would put this shirt in the same category as similar shirts from Lands End. The sewing is well done, with no loose threads needing cutting, and the collar is taped in the back to protect your neck.I was so impressed I am planning on purchasing more men's shirts in the Amazon Basics collection.On the practical side, this shirt can be machine washed (warm water) and machine dried (low temp).

Beautiful simple shirt of fairly high quality made in Vietnam ( which I view as a positive) It is not light whatsoever. 100% cotton with a hand similar to a light flanel. Def. shrinks so size up .

Ordered a size large for a 42†chest and it fit just fine. Machine washed well, however I let it airdry so unsure about shrinkage if machine dried. Fabric is soft and of medium weight. Shirt worked perfectly to keep the sun off and lessen the chill after being in water.
