I just got this glass dip pen set today and I absolutely love it. It’s for a kind of “legacy†personal project (I suppose you could think of it as a “scrapbook-but-not,†something I plan to leave behind for others but with hidden messages). As soon as it arrived, I had to try the invisible ink. This is the second glass dip pen I’ve gotten from this brand, and I wasn’t disappointed. The tip isn’t as fine as some, but it’s well made. The design is pretty minimal, which makes it easy to hold like a regular pen as opposed to those with the more bulbous part just above the nib. No other colors but black, watch was fine with me. It’s a very classy looking pen, honestly. Price was good, the invisible ink worked wonderfully. I have no idea how long it will continue to fluoresce under UV light, but right now, it’s very easy to see. I’ll be using this on a dark handmade paper, and it will be interesting to see how it looks. I’m not too concerned about readability or longevity of the writing/ink, as the thought will still be there, at least symbolically, as far as I’m concerned. But yeah, easy to write with, feels nice in the hand, the ink flowed well, and the nib held quite a bit. No chips, rough spots, broken bits at all.

I purchased the pen that came with the ink that glows under the black light. It was packaged well with no problems. At first I thought the very tip of the pen may have been chipped because it felt a little rough. However, I wanted to try it out first before making any quick decisions just to make sure it really did work and it did. I haven't tried the ink that came with it yet because I had my own. Rough tip or not, this pen worked better than I expected and it's fun to use. The ink flowed smooth and clean without any blotches. I practiced writing on the back of an old receipt, on notebook paper and a piece of regular stationary and I had no problems. It's different and it's fun.

There were a few flaws in the spiral of the glass nib, but they were high enough on the nib that it didn't matter when writing. The best thing I've found with glass pens is it makes a very consistent line. You do need to let some ink run back into the bottle so it doesn't make a blot when you write. I will say some inks work better than others with it. Very easy to keep clean. Keep the nib protector and keep it on the nib when not in use. The tip of the nib is thin enough to break if you put it down the wrong way. The ink is nice, just have a black light handy when using it. The little glass cat pen holder is a little too fragile to really do any good, but it is cute. Good and elegant packaging.

Ok product. When writing or drawing u will be able to see creases on the paper even when not pressing light on the paper.
