Really liked the color & the softness of the yarn-felt like velvet. Infact ordered a second one of the same colors for a second project. Used a size G or 4mm hook.

Great color for fall projects or some knit/crocheted things for spring.It's very, very soft and holds together well (there's a core thread that holds the velvet fibers in place).Velvet yarn has a tendency to tangle on itself, so rewinding it or pulling from the center of the skein makes it easier to use.I love using this yarn - good color selection.

I make a lot of amigurumi (crocheted animals) and this yarn makes it much easier. The hook slides easily through the yarn due to the velvety texture, and it's nice on the hands and fingers, too. It sheds at the end like other chenille yarns, but that's to be expected. Highly recommend!

Very nice, soft chenille yarn. The color arona (1260) is much more a slate blue color than a teal green blue as expected. It’s still very pretty and I’ll use it, but just a heads up! So far no breaks or molting, which is lovely for a chenille yarn. I also appreciate the fluffy thickness and it not being flat! ** Last pic is stock pic from listing for comparison - not my pic!

This yarn is incredibly soft and unlike other yarns that I have used that are similar, it does not easily break if your tension gets too tight. I also love that I have yet to encounter any factory knots and I’m 8 skeins into my project. The reason I say it is almost perfect is because of the shedding, if you crochet and you are perfect you will not run into any shedding. However, if you mess up and have to frog anything it will shed a lot. Other than that this yarn is great, super soft and very comfortable if you are making a blanket.

It’s great for practice. This yarn isn’t horrible, but I got the dark purple yarn from the same brand and the light blue is a lot less soft and doesn’t hold as much body. The fluff itself comes out so easily my pants were littered when I finished the 2nd row of 25 chains. The color is an exact match to the picture, but it’s got that cheap shine to it. It also has very little stretch.

I absolutely love this yarn! It’s very easy to work with and absolutely no shedding whatsoever. I’ve already purchased more to make ducks for my upcoming Greenland cruise.

The pink on the right is Estako compared to the one on the left from another brand that is Super Bulky. This Estako brand is not Super Bulky ... I can probably crochet this with 2.5mm hook.But, quality is good, it doesn't break down as much as Micheal's Loops & Thread's Sweet Snuggles Lite when you undo your stitches.After a year of trying different brands, I can say this is one of the best. Just a little pricey, but you get what you paid for

I'll write the review that I wished I'd seen.I bought a single skein to check the quality, which led me to buy the 3 pack.The purple colour is true. It's perfect for my giant gengar project. The yarn is very soft, doesnt smell and is great even for beginners.It didnt lose many fluf pieces when I had to unravel part of my project, I could reuse the chenille yarn without any problem.If I need more chenille yarn, I know I'll buy Estako Velvet again.

It's soft but it's too thin. I couldn't use it for the project I wanted to use it for because it's so much thinner than the other colors of super bulky chenille yarn I'm using. It should be listed as just bulky weight. It's also pretty expensive for such a small skein.

I was worried about quality as I have never ordered yarn online before, and this is some of the best “chenille†type yarn I’ve ever worked with! Colours are awesome and true to photos.
