The Sure Strike drilling hammer from Estwing, has a forged steel blue painted head which is hardened and tempered. Both faces are fully polished. Designed for striking cold chisels, brick chisels, punches, star drills, spikes and hardened nails. Both faces are beveled. This drilling hammer has an 11 in. jacketed and textured yellow fiberglass handle which allows for heavier blows in an environment where there is limited swing. A strong reliable tool you can count on. Protect your eyes from flying particles and dust. Always wear safety goggles. Bystanders shall also wear safety goggles.

Use it for splitting firewood into kindling, works like a beast! I blasted through several dead blow hammers splitting wood, this thing is a Sherman tank!

This hammer should last me years until the epoxy in the head starts to draw up and Crack open. The handle is a durable plastic material with a dark blue rubberized grip. It fits my hand well. I don't plan on using it all day, every day, so I wasn't concerned with getting the much more expensive one-piece steel version. It's a good hammer

This is a good quality hammer. I should have gone for the 5# for my job but that was my fault. This is pretty light in your hand if you are going to use with metal posts or bigger jobs.

It's not too big and bulky and fits well in your hand. It's short and heavy enough that you can get some good solid swings in tight spots. I use it all the time and enjoy the purchase worth the money

Apesar de ser feito em Taiwan e não nos EUA, a marreta possui uma boa qualidade construtiva e um metal muito resistente. A durabilidade só o tempo dirá, mas creio ser uma ótima ferramenta.

It hammers, it... hammers.It's an Estwing and I will likely never again have to buy a 3lb lump hammer. Short of mortgaging your house for Stiletto hammers, Estwing is probably your best bet for quality "hand powered kinetic impulse generators". I have four different ones, and absolutely no intent of switching to any other brand.Highly recommended.
