Tip#1: Cut to length BEFORE soaking.Tip#2: You WILL need either needle nose pliers or the hand ratchet tool if you're using the metal straps that come with the kit.Tip#3: Wear Pants. While the wrap does shield you from the worst of the heat it's not 100% protection. Especially if your skin touches the metal straps.Take the dry wrap and wrap the item you're putting it on first...than mark the length...than cut. Than soak the wrap for an hour or so. Now wrap the item and use the bands as you go to hold your work in place. Than let it sit over night.So far it's holding up great and works to protect you from severe burns. Again..it's not 100% protection. You can't grab a header pipe wrapped in this stuff while the pipe is still hot from use. You will burn your hands. You just won't take the skin off or blister like a slice of cheese on a griddle.

Like that it git for what I needed. Would like to know if it can be painted with high heat paint to change color. Nothing to dislike at the moment.

I was hoping this would be good, because I was excited to get a red wrap. However, when I installed it and got the bike running, the color faded almost immediately. Now I will have to uninstall it and figure something else out. Sucks.

Just enough to do go kart exhaust. Only disappointment is the color faded as soon as I started it. It's almost completely white after a couple hours. I did wet it to install. Might have had something to do with it fading.

Make sure you install this wet and tight and secure firmly, I recommend a hose clamp instead cable ties. it will loose it's color with the extreme heat on a header, however it even seals a leakage! Pretty impressive...

Seems do do what it’s designed for. But after 400 kms it lost its colour and it is now brown with red edges. So dont know what to do with it now. Peel it and get my money back. Or just run it. 🤷ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸ðŸ¤·ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸

Le tape à pratiquement fondu , ça ne résiste pas à la chaleur et j'ai même un bout tout brûlé le produit a même tout décolorée, n'achetez pas ce produit, c'est de l'argent gaspiller
