When it comes down to its function, this pump works the same as any other pump on its kind. I noticed absolutely no difference. The claim of the seller/manufacturer that it inflates the balls faster is incorrect. In fact, the pump slows down once it comes within 0.5 psi from the final value. The other pumps I own do not do this and overshoot the target pressure. This pump stops exactly at the present value. However, as you pull the needle, you always lose some air, so you may need to set the target pressure slightly higher. Then, although the box contains a cable for charging the pump, it does not contain an elastic tube to place between the needle and the pump. That is, you have to screw the needle directly on the pump. I would prefer that the charging cable is not included (these days everyone has such a cable) and, instead, the flexible tube is provided (which is something that most people do not have). Now, why is this flexible tube important? Without the tube, after you insert the needle full into the valve, there is no space left between the pump and the ball to place your fingers to pull the needle out. You have to pull it out by pulling the pump. However, this means that, very soon actually, the head of the needle will break and you will have a needle inside the valve. Sometimes it is possible to remove the embedded needle with pliers, sometimes it is not possible. Now, especially if you are a coach or someone who inflates balls routinely, this will become a headache. (You know that the needles break easily. Especially, if you allow kids to use the pump, they always lean the pump to the side, thus bending the needle which then breaks during the next use.)The pump has two ports: one for inflating and one for deflating. Although I have never needed to deflate a ball, it is probably a good feature. Especially for younger kids if you want to make the ball softer for heading. The pump also has a button for selecting the units of the pressure: psi for US and kPa for the rest of the world. (You can also select bar as a unit but it is unnecessary.) It also has another button to select one of five modes: soccer, basketball, American football, volleyball, or manual. Basically it selects the range of your sport. This button is useless. I have no idea what the manufacturer was thinking. Yes, balls in different sports (even balls of different brands in a single sport) are inflated at different pressures but this is taken into account by the setting. Even the manual says that you have to read the required pressure on the ball.

Here's the low-down of why I love this electric pump:1) Starting out of the gate, I took it straight out of the box and used it. Screwed in the needle (they give you two), stuck it into my soccer ball, and long pressed the power button to turn on, then a quick short press to actually activate it. It knew right away the ball I was testing it on should be at 9psi, and from about a 7, it pumped for about ten seconds until it reached 9, and automatically cut off. I was kinda blown away. Right away that was a huge good first impression - quick, easy, powerful - AWESOME.2) Now for the rest: Like I said, it comes with two needles, but no valve. You just screw the needle right into the pump, no need for any extra valve. There is a separate hole for inflate and deflate - inflate is auto, but deflate you need to turn off on your own. There is a plus (+) and minus (-) button, so you can adjust the psi manually. To find out if it gets the readings/psi correctly, I will try it on other soccer balls in a couple days when we have our next pick up game. It also comes with a nylon pouch for storage and protection. Finally, it's rechargeable, via USB-C, so no need for batteries. The cable is included, the power plug is not. My favorite pump before this was also electric, but you had to pop in two AA batteries. So that's gonna go to a teammate, while I will use this one from now on. Love it.UPDATE: Have tested it on another 10 different soccer balls, some several times, for the past 4 weeks. It's been working great, and I've never had to even recharge the pump once yet. It's freakin' awesome.

This works well and I love that it has a deflate option as well. I like that it comes with a bigger bag that has room for the manual, charging cable and needles.I still go by what is printed on the ball, but the PSI recommendations by ball type are closs right out of the package. My only complaint is that it lake a small 3-4" braided extention for between the pump and needle. The ones I have for work have this and it makes a HUGE difference. I am afraid my kids or husband is going to bend the needles trying to use them as is

This is a nice pump, it is similar to other handheld pumps of its kind. I like the preprogrammed settings for PSI, as well as, the deflate feature. It's pretty lightweight and comfortable to use. I also like the storage bag it comes with to keep everything together when not in use. For this price point I think this is a fair value. It functions well and it's easy to use. Is it faster than other pumps? I'm not so sure, it seems about the same as others I've used. Ultimately, it is a nice air pump for the kids sports equipment and I'm happy with it.
