I bought this to go along with our homeschool science curriculum. My child has had a lot of fun exploring magnets and learning about them. The kit comes in a handy case to help keep it organized. The compass leaves a lot to be desired and is quite inaccurate, but that wasn't the reason for the purchase. Overall, I am very satisfied.

We have kids from 5 to 12, and all of them like playing with these magnets. This kit has enough of a variety of magnets and associated equipment that you can do a lot of experiments, most of which just seem like playing to the kids.They really like the levitating dowel and suspending the magnets above one another.

This is a nice little magnet set. But the horseshoe-shaped magnet arrived broken. They really need to come up with a better packaging method!

This was such a scam.Every single piece came scratched or ruined, it had already been opened, instructions in Chinese, and the magnets are too weak to actually use for any of these explorations.Absolute junk.Buyer beware.

We used this for a STEM project for school, it's a fun set to play with not relatively strong magnets.
