I got these for my 8 year old that usually hates to wear knee or elbow pads. He loves them and said they are comfortable! The quality is nice, and are easy for him to put on.

My daughter tried a lot of different protective pads and these were her favorite! Not too bulky. Stayed in place even after an hour of rollerblading. Took a good tumble and not a scratch. Very happy with them.

I bought these for my son to protect him while riding his bike after he had a couple falls and scraped up his knees and elbows. I initially bought the G4Free pads but they were very rigid and uncomfortable so he wouldn't wear them. I'm not sure if these will provide as much protection as those would have, but I'm sure they are at least thick enough to prevent scrapes. He says they are way more comfortable and they are adjustable and stay on well.I bought him a large. He is 10, very tall and thin for his age. I did notice that while the knee pads are marked as large, the elbow pads are marked as mediums even though they all came together in a set. They fit him fine though so I'm not worried about it.

I thought that the slip-on kind would be preferable, because kid would need help getting the velcro ones strapped on. But kid says that the little hole at the elbow does not allow for enough movement, does not allow the elbow to bend very much. So kid prefers this kind, which are on right in photo, kid's left arm. Kid's arm is 20 cm or 8 inches. Lots of good padding at the elbow, but will need some help strapping them on. Kid really likes them.

I bought these pads for my 10 year old daughter for skateboarding.. They are great quality and she says they are very comfortable and its much easier to bend at her joints than her old bulky plastic pads. Even without the bulkiness, there is still plenty of padding in these to protect her from scrapes and bruises. I will be getting 2 additional sets for my boys!! Very pleased with our purchase!
