The switch is a genuine Eureka replacement for Eureka Boss upright vacuum cleaner. It is made in Mexico, and the mounting lock nut needs to be saved because it is not included in the switch assembly. Installation is exactly as the original switch but had different wire colors. The only issue with this switch is that sometimes the button cannot be pushed "on" or "off" if it is pushed at a certain angle. The plastic design makes it very susceptible to breaking again.

I stupidly broke the switch on my antique Eureka 630D vacuum... The hole on the 630D that the switch goes through is keyed to prevent rotation, however the threaded part on this switch is round... It will fit, but it is extremely tight. Also the nut crossthreads very easily (which I suspect is what broke my old switch). Be careful while installing the switch.If you succeed in installing the switch though, it will last damn near forever. :)

The switch is faulty something is wrong with it you have to hit it pretty hard for it to actually work
