Can't really say anything negative about these chem lights. They work as advertised and seem to be close in quality to the Cyalume brand that I used while in the Military only at a better price.

I followed the simple instructions and almost immediately after snapping the glow stick it lit up bright yellow. Testing it in my non-windowed bathroom at night with the lights out I could read the writing on one of the bottles with one glow stick about 2 inches from the bottle. Other than that, it would have been nice if I would have actually received 24 glow sticks, I received only 21, therefore the 3 star rating.

We put the glow sticks in our vehicle and home emergency kits. Hopefully we will never need them.
