I have been going to yoga for several years now, and I usually just haphazardly roll/fold up my yoga mat after I finish and just toss it into the backseat of my car. Lately I've been wanting to put emphasis on keeping organized and tidy. This strap was the solution for my chaotic mat-treatments! At first I was a little confused on how to use it, but the simple to follow instructions made it make sense! Super easy and customizable for any yoga mat size. Now instead of a mess, I look like a put together yogi when I go to and from class! I'm glad I got this thing!

Synopsis:Overall it works and is made well, but I personally prefer a velcro strap. Great for the price though. It came with instructions for how to make the loops in case that's difficult to visualize. The strap was made well and I found no manufacturing defects. No odors, very quiet and a good universal size. I do see that some may prefer no velcro to be more natural and quiet. If that's you, this is your strap and you'll be happy with it.

This was my first strap for my yoga mat, and I guess there is a learning curve... I hadn't realized how many straps simply use gravity to hold the mat shut. That's what this one does.I think "adjustable straps" in the description is misleading, in that I cannot control their size if I want to use this to keep my yoga mat rolled for storage (which is why I got it). The only way this works for storage is by hanging it up somehow to let gravity do the rest. Bleg. Also, the description says that it stores sports essentials...how? I have no idea. The description also says "buckle," and I'd hesitate to call any part of this a buckle, in that nothing can be tightly secured. The fabric and metal parts are nice and feel high quality, so I guess it's a good version of what it is - I just wish the description wasn't so misleading.

I like this strap, it takes a second to figure out how to form the hoop, but it becomes intuitive. It feels very sturdy and is comfortable enough on the shoulder.

This yoga mat strap is very strong. It seems like it will get a lot of use before showing wear and tear. The concept is very simple. Just slip the starp through the buckets to make a loop and slide it over your rolled mat. Then let gravity tighten it. My problem with this is that when I put my mat in the car it rolls around and by the time I get to my yoga class the mat has loosened up and I have to readjust the mat and strap. It needs some velcro or something to keep it tight on the mat. For that reason - a four, not a five.

I have a rather large, and padded yoga mat, and have had difficulty finding good ways to keep it under control when it’s not being used. The sizing of the loops and the strap are perfect, and absolutely the solution I’ve been waiting for.I can’t think of a single thing to improve, it just makes it a lot easier to travel with my equipment everywhere I go. There’s even room for my yoga towel.

This is a typical yoga sling. It keeps your mat rolled up and lets you carry it. The strap is soft enough to not be irritating on your hands or shoulders for a short time.

This is a no frills simple-design strap. The loop simply tightens to the rolled up mat, without needing adjustments. It took a minute for me to figure out how to set up the loop, but now it is easy.
