Tight closed cap, fully TIG welded and thread come with O-ring gasket. Bottom port is radiator overflow,the top port is the tank overflow.

Installed and it works great. Collects the radiator overflow and returns it to the radiator as the engine cools.

Read the reviews and alot of the bad one are people who don't know how to install it right or didn't read the details of the product no it won't destroy your coolant system it has a small hole in the cap to allow pressure to escape the o- ring in the cap is soft it also won't hold a lot of pressure if the rad isn't feed into the can or out of the can you ether have it mounted too high or to low for your system and no it's not going to fit your car exactly it's a aftermarket part and is going to take work to install it took me 20min in my application the product works way better then it should for the price mine came with no macheing defects it doesn't leak the size matches the description it fit perfectly in the space I had available, lastly mounting was easy because the mount provided was very versatile and easy to work with.

+ Decent quality, works for what it is+ Mounting solution is good enough- The 1/16 vent hole at the top is a pretty half baked solution, I drilled and tapped a 1/8 npt to hose barb fitting with a little sintered bronze filter inline instead- Check the inside of the can before install. There was a large piece of metal slag inside from manufacturing.- Hose is questionable quality- Stupid logo on the side

Nice addition to my 65 Mustang. Took a little work to install it but it fits perfectly in close proximity to the radiator and the fan belt.

The reservoir has been great for the 250 miles I've already driven with it since purchase. No issues so far. Has not wiggled loose from the clamp that comes with it. The provided bolts are soft metal F.Y.I. so you may want to buy a set of stronger boltsI will update if I have any issues.

Was easy to install, cleaned up the engine bay a lot and got rid of the fugly stock recovery tank. Just make sure you clean the inside of the tank before install, there was one tiny piece of metal still in it from cutting the flow hole

I decided to try out this product because it’s very similar to a lot of other products. I was seeing online from reputable aftermarket retailers for a lot cheaper for my 1990 300 ZX TwinTurbo. I did not have a lot of room to work with after putting on multiple intercooler mods and having practically no space in the engine bay, but this was the perfect size that fit snug in between my brake booster, and my clutch master cylinder. The container itself is very well-built. The only problem I saw was that there was multiple pieces of debris inside the container, but a quick wash out with some distilled water and a shop rag, cleaned it out perfectly the hose clamps that come with It are pretty bad but work I’m just not a fan of that style of hose clamp and the hose that comes with It is OK just cheap feeling honestly if you have your own hose and your own hose clamps, this is worth the money just for the container.
