After using many types (abrasive, cold-cutoff, and bandsaw) and brands of saws (Dewalt, Milwaukee, Bosch, Makita, DoAll, etc.) for over two decades, I decided to buy this when going out on my own. Faster than either an abrasive or bandsaw. More economical to purchase and easier to maintain and set up than a band saw. Highly accurate and very easy to use in fairly high production work. Would prefer a cast iron base rather than aluminum but I appreciate the weight and cost savings of the aluminum base. The ability to accurately and quickly change between angles is a terrific feature. The clamps work well and are easily adjustable. Really an all-around solution for much of my cutting. I’ve owned this for about a year now and would purchase it again without any reservation.

I buy/own a lot of tools and I do not leave reviews. However, I have to leave a review for this one.1) Assembly- this saw was well thought out and as a result assembles super easy. There is no broken English b.s. In fact, there are no words- they use assembly diagrams which are very intuitive (see above pic). Only one tool required for assembly and it is included with the saw. I had this put together in 10 minutes.2) Quality- No flimsy components at all. Everything feels rock solid.3) THIS THING CUTS!! My first cuts were on 2" square tube. I was expecting some shaking/shuddering and there was none. It went through the tubing in seconds. You should have seen the smile on my face after the first cut. This is going to make my cutting life SOOO much easier. Up until now I had been using an angle grinder but never again. Some user complained of chips flying everywhere but there was less mess than with my angle grinder. I only had safety glasses and ear protection on (not a full face shield) and the chips were NEVER a concern. Didn't even require a respirator.It is expensive but in this case you get what you pay for. If you can afford it I highly recommend this saw.

Everything about this saw is solid, well thought out and precisely executed! All the adjustments are quick and easy from the brilliant vise configuration to the saw head adjustment to keep the saw in the optimal axis over the different shapes being cut, along with the 46 deg left and right miter.Keeping the fence fixed in one orientation allows for efficient set up and the saw is adjusted around the work piece. Check out Evolutions video.If however this is way more functional and versital than you’re looking for, I have a Dewalt DW 872 in great condition I’ll gladly sell you ;))

I like the idea, been looking for a long time for something that will both cut straight, and make an angle without going thru a bunch of gyrations, and this fits the bill. After about 40 cuts, I think I've pretty much tested it as much as necessary to form an opinion.1), cuts straight, and not sure about the blade it came with, I think the diablo blades cut faster, but they both make clean cuts and don't leave a lot of flash on the end. .2) Is accurate, and repeatable.3) the clamps.. Yes, they are there, and yes, they work, but they are sort of a pain to manage..4) This unit sprays chips, like everywhere, and a lot. 20 foot radius of the saw, every time, every cut. The operator needs a full face shield to use it, and time to clean up the mess.. Never seen anything like that, and I've been a welder / fabricator for over 40 years.. No, not expecting it to be as clean as a oil bath blade cold saw, but jeez..So it's nice,. in almost every way. I could nitpick things to death, but then everything has a downside or 4 so that's not constructive, and I won't. It's super expensive for what it is, but if you do a lot of angled cuts, or compound angles, then you'll definitely want this unit. If you're looking to make straight cuts only, then the extra money spent just wouldn't be worth it.

The saw works great. I like all the different ways you can hold your material with. Being able to change cutting angle without moving material in a different position is the best thing about the saw for me.
