Im a contractor and do a lot of floors. I've been searching for a good pair of knee pads for a while now and have purchased over 10 pairs searching for the right ones. Well my search stopped with these. I know they are for hockey but they work great for flooring. Very comfortable. I like how the straps go around your calve and not behind the knee.

These work great as a shin pad, but only float over the knee. Therefore a more secure knee pad is required. I use a separate strap down knee pad with these shin pads over the top of the knee and shin.

Whoever designed these was not thinking straight. They are very high quality with awesome padding inside, they look and feel premium. However: they only have two straps when they very clearly need three. They only have two that go across your shins, there is no strap for the knee part, therefore it does not hold the knee part close to you, when you bend your knee the pad comes off and hovers 4-6 inches away. What a stupid design! It is very strange, I think they did it for comfort reasons but it makes these unusable unless you are standing 100% of the time. If you are sitting, walking, or bending your leg, these feel really weird and uncomfortable.So close to being what I am looking for, if they had the third strap they would be 5 stars. Only having two straps is a miserable failure - I would avoid these unless you're just using them to stand still and never bend your knee.EDIT: The seller "Great White Motosports" made me pay for return shipping and then refused to refund me.
