I bought the 40th anniversary edition Wolverine and had it put together a local bow shop. The directions said wait a day or so before shooting. Waited a week to zero the scope in and the 2nd shot the right side blew off. 5th shot the left came off. Not sure why but super glue might be the Answer. Love the crossbow and just wanted to say what happened to me. Thanks

These came with my new Rev X. They had to be cut to fit and I installed them after cleaning very well with the supplied alcohol pad. The left one came off after 8 shots and I just pulled them right one off. Glue residue peeled right off. I can tell zero difference without them. Seems like a gimmick to get your money. Don't waste your money.
