Nice padding on the case, the elastic band that goes over the top is adjustable by adjusting the knot. When you release the clip it flips back making it easy to pull the radio out. Can press the ptt through the material. Nice molle straps and fits perfectly on mystery ranch line pack webbing. Definitely revised compared to the old reviewers and its sturdy. Only thing keeping it from a 5 is it being a bit tall so I folded the front flap in a bit to expose the speaker a bit more. Definitely recommend if you need a case for a brick radio out on the line

The pouch does it’s job fine as a radio pouch, it carried my 152 for a single 16 hour mission but here is why I gave it 3 stars:The clasp to secure the elastic retention band over the top of the radio pulled out of the fabric itself within the first hour of our mission. I was in a convoy in my truck for that hour. Needless to say the pouch was not under stress and it didn’t make it to my our first firefight on the op.The retention band is an essential piece of the radio pouch itself given the risk around me losing that piece of equipment because the piece on the pouch can’t do it’s job.Overall it’s a solid radio pouch. I enjoy the comfortable fabric around the radio itself. When something pinches in your body armor it is extremely annoying especially over time. I had 0 problems with comfort and enjoyed wearing it through the operation, though I had to rig my own retention string with 550 cord.

Ok this radio pouch is awesome it fits my baofeng ar-152 perfectly and only radios that size a uv-5r is way to small for this so don’t buy this for uv-5r your radio will get swallowed by the pouch and what I mean be careful is the holding bands seem to be able to give up on you if you use this ruff so if you think about using this pouch like ruff times or almost daily it will run down and it would be better to find another pouch out there without these run down bands.
