EXEDY Stage 1 Organic Racing Clutches only use premium friction materials that are resistant to slippage and burst. Increased clamp loads give the necessary capacity to handle modified engines. This is the ideal clutch for street and light horsepower track use. Drivability is similar to the stock clutch. Pedal efforts will be slightly higher because of the higher clamp loads. All of our Stage 1 clutch discs have spring center dampers to reduce drivetrain shock and provide smooth clutch engagement.

Great clutch. The other reviewer obviously had other issues going on. Should've left your mechanic a bad review, not this clutch.

This clutch chatters horribly! I've dealt with several other clutches without this issue, to include Southbend, ACT, OEM Exedy replacements. The OEM replacement Exedy clutches are great but this is my 2nd experience with the 15802 and had the same problems. Never again!

I just don't know.The stock clutch failed at 100k leaving the transmission locked up.The car could not be rolled and had to be placed on a flatbed to my mechanic.After only 20K of driving (no racing) this heavy-duty racing clutch that costs twice as much as the stock one appears to be slipping. I don't understand, unless it was not installed correctly. When I first drove it the car was nearly un-driveable due to increased pedal effort and grabby feel. I got used to it, but others said it was difficult to drive. I think my mechanic had the pedal engage point set too high. Now the clutch disengages at the touch of the pedal. I adjusted the pedal travel but it is too late, the damage is done.

Impressed with the quality and finish of the product, but if I had it to do over, I'd probably just put in Exedy's OEM clutch and flywheel, I enjoy driving a bit aggressively, but regular in town driving suffers a bit more than I'd counted on from others reviews... But if you've hopped up your Rex and need the extra pressure, go for it, it's a great product...

if you dont know, exedy makes some of the best clutches on the market. good price, received it quick, straight to my mechanic.

I put this clutch in with a brand new oem flywheel and it is even better than the original. Couldn't be happier.
