Direct replacement and works. Did have to adjust banjo fitting to match up with hardlines and shorten supplied line. Works now and is holding pressure with no leaks.

Both original and replacement master cylinders leaked at the banjo fitting. Some sort of manufacturing defect. Do not buy it until it's fixed. Wasted quite a bit of time.

Leaked at the o ring connection with the soft hose. Could be a fluke but you never know.
