My clutch master on my '91 240sx went out, so I figured that while I was at it, I might as well replace the slave. This unit dropped right into place, was very easy to bleed, and has been serving me well in daily driving for several months now.Most criticisms of this part come from people (correctly) noting that this is not actually an EXEDY product. It appears to be an unknown brand that Exedy markets as one of its own, so the description is somewhat misleading. While there isn't really a good excuse for this, I don't place that much stock in brand names. These days, rebranding of cheap items by well-known brands is common. At least this is honest about it's origins on the actual box.Also, sites that specialize in performance parts for 240's sell this exact slave cylinder as an alternative to OEM. I have yet to see a bad review for one on those sorts of sites, and as far as I can tell it's holding up just fine.So: if this fits your car, buy it. Cheap, and it seems to perform just fine. Yes, it is not a genuine branded Exedy product, but I honestly don't see the value in whose sticker is on the box. The price drop from OEM part is huge, and I have confidence that this will last a long time. Take that for what its worth.

This slave cylinder is really good quality. I performed a manual swap in my s13 and this bolts right up to the trans using OEM holes (and OEM bolts so don't lose your old ones) bleeds well and is working great! Cheap to buy also! Don't hesitate.Alot of these reviews are bad because of uneducated people. Exedy used to be Daiken. Equal is also basically the same company. Read up before assuming you got sent different brand name parts.Also! This is installed on a car that I don't drive daily, but I still beat it and abuse it, being a drift car. Going strong after over a year of it being installed.

Worked great, my old one was bad and this bled so well i didnt even need to use my vacuum pump!

I thought that this was “Exedy†but I got the “equivalentâ€, which it was fine for the price, but now less then 2 months in the slave is leaking, and this is from daily driving, I don’t drive the card “hard†or “beat†on it.
