Wow, I loved the quality of the headers. They fit perfectly, and I am so impressed with the quality. The only negative thing is the bolts that came with the headers. They were grade 5 and when I put them in they were just barely too long so they bottomed out in the head and did not torque or feel right. I took them back out and one broke off when removing it. Thankfully I was able to remove it with vice grips. I checked the length and the bolts that came with the headers and they were about ¼" too long. I went to Lowes and bought Stainless replacements that were about ¼" shorter. Stainless bolts are like grade 13 so much stronger. They torqued perfectly and I am so glad I did that. I also used a copper exhaust sealer around the ball outlet, mostly to guarantee a smooth connection of the exhaust pipe. I highly recommend theses headers. They look great and I think the performance is worth it and adds to the mild cam I put in the motor.

I typically think it is safe to assume "you get what you pay for" but that's not the case here. I gave a 5 star to ease of use but make no mistake, these are tough to install. Forget about torque specs on the bolts, absolutely no way you are getting these tightened any other way than by feel. There is a bolt on each side that sits directly behind a pipe, I literally used painters tape to secure a ratcheting flex head socket to a bolt in position on the header before trying to install them; in a way they are held in place but not so that the tape is impossible to remove. There are a couple of bolts that are very hard to reach, but not impossible. I have a huge variety of ratcheting wrenches, swivel sockets, wobble extensions and I made use of most of them looking for the perfect way to access hard to reach bolts. If you are bull headed, patient, somewhat mechanically inclined, and decent selection of tools, these will do. The ball sockets looked small at first but I don't have any leaks. I replaced a set of longtubes with these and I would say installation of both is an equal pain in the ass, for slightly different reasons. I painted these with a header paint and wrapped them in dei wrap so that lessened the room to work with a bit, looking back I would only paint them. That said, I had no rust on mine after unboxing them. There seemed to be a bit of oil on them, but it wasn't as issue...especially since I hand sanded and degreased them during paint prep. If you are looking for a cheap alternate to SW, ARH...that doesn't exist but for me...these are fine. I did not use the included gasket and wouldn't, get an oem or better quality replacement. Or you ll likely be doing the job again. Sorry for the TLDR but maybe it will be helpful for someone that takes the time to read this.

Overall you could tell there was some thought put into these. As the bolts were easier to put in because they had slots instead of bolt holes. However, and I would have given these 5 stars, but one side was warped which has created a leak. I know it's not the block because it didn't leak prior. The reason I put these on, was my passenger side had a rust hole. And installing these on the ground is a real treat, so to have it be that kind of error really sucks.

The passenger side header bolted right in place except for the flange being slightly smaller. Now the driver side… the flange had the same issue and is actually leaking slightly. I had to use a ratchet strap to pull the factory exhaust crossover pipe inwards to align with the new headers. One of the top bolt holes is behind a pipe so close that I had to cut a bolt shorter to fit in it. The pipe from the back cylinder was touching the valve cover enough to hold the header off the head 3/16â€. With all these issues it’s almost like they cut every pipe on the driver side too short or stuck it in too far where it connects to the plate. I can’t imagine it being correct and like all others that are made or this problem would have come up before. Their resolution for the problem was for me to “modify†that header or take it to someone who can. If I’m going to take it somewhere then I wouldn’t buy the headers that are made to bolt in the place of the factory manifolds. I ended up taking my ball peen hammer and flattening the back of the back pipe so now it still just barely touches the plastic valve cover. They have offered me a partial refund but I want the correct product or else this was all for nothing.

Was hesitant to buy cheap off brand headers but glad I did. Seemed to be good quality, nice welds, super thick flanges. Fit was perfect direct bolt on, bolt right up to factory exhaust. There was one hole on passenger side that had to be slotted/cut for the bolt to fit same hole on the driver's side is already slotted you'll know which one, no big deal two minutes with the cutoff wheel fixed the problem. I wraped mine and bought better gaskets which I'd recommend, I did use the bolts that came with the headers. On mine factory bolts are 10mm bolts that come with the headers are 12mm you'll need an open end wrench to get to most. Took about 6-7 hours start to finish that's with the truck on a lift and two broken Manifold studs (which is the reason for the headers install). Sounds the same gas mileage is the same maybe a little extra low end power but nothing to write home about 2011 ram 1500 5.7 Not sure about all the years but atleast on the 11's the lower dip stick tube bolt is behind the motor mount and by the time you get the bolt back in you'll be praying for a slow death to the guy that engineered it. Been on for over a month now with zero problems would definitely recommend and would buy again.Fixed that hemi tick

As advertised. No fitment issues. Not high end but a nice product. Hardware is cheesy though......

The headers themself are very nicely constructed.Install was a bit of a pain in the butt but doable.I used the gasket & hardware that came with it.Had to cut 2 of the bolts down .Truck definitely sounds better & seems to have better response/power.Very happy with em .Great value .
