I bought these to mount and display some handmade model crafts. In the process of locating and drilling a couple of holes, just a bit of minor handling and careful contact with the working area scuffed and scratched the surface enough to leave noticeable marks and marring on the faux wood finish. Not even so much where I was drilling holes but mostly on the corners and edges.
