I am a quilter and have found these clips to be most helpful. They are wide enough to hold large quilts (King size). They are easy to grip and stay in place. They are most useful in most of my craft projects but are used more for quilting.

These clips work fine on beach chairs but the large O shape of these clips are also able to go over/around a laundry rack rod or a shower curtain rod and clip items beneath.... a nice option for your laundry needs.

These are great at holding the towel to the chair, but the handles stick out too far. I understand they need to provide leverage, but they get in the way and are just clunky. I'll keep looking for something that doesn't stick out so far. They work great....this is just a preference thing.
