These bags seem to be well constructed and should last a while! I was able to easily fill them with stone and get them affixed to the legs of my Gazebo! We haven't had any storms yet but, I'm pretty sure they will be up to the task and work pretty well!

One of the best thing I ever purchase. With Santa Ana wind, it blew my gazebo and flipped upside down. Now with these post weight. No budge from the wind. The gazebo stayed put. I should have gotten these earlier.

Update: My ABC canopy went through one hell of storm last night and survived thanks to these sandbags. No they don't attach to the legs but I fixed that by using ratchet straps. The wind moved my tent about a foot but it stood strong. These bags work and do what they're supposed to.I am unhappy with these as they don't attach to the leg with straps or anything. They just sit on the leg and I'm not sure how that would be secure enough in a good wind storm. Unfortunately I filled one of the bags up before realizing this so now I can't return them. They are also way too heavy for me to pick up and carry once they are full. I don't think I could pick them up to put in my vehicle when they are full. If you're looking for a lot of weight these will do it, you just might need to ratchet strap them to the canopy legs to secure them and make sure you have the strength to move them around once you fill them up.

These bags worked perfect for our cantilever umbrella and hold the sand in well. The black dye has faded in the sun overtime but does not impact functionality.

I feel that I was sold smaller bags but paid for larger bag price. They supposedly hold as much as 240lbs per 4 bag set but in actuality didn't hold more than 160lbs per set. Unfortunately that fault was discovered too late after trying to fill 2 sets and wasting my project money. I am very disappointed.

I live in willminton NC, heavy winds, hurricane season. So far so good. I read that someone said it didn’t hold 20lbs in each side. Yes it does! I used a total of 200lbs for all mine

Used this product for additional weight to secure a metal gazebo to concrete during high winds. Since I’m only going to use these in one location I placed a kitchen garbage bag inside and filled with sand. Very heavy. Material is good quality and easily zips closed when full to th top. The straps used to secure to posts are good quality., the straps are plenty long for most setups but I have a large gazebo with large posts. This is not a problem. I’ll get some straps that will fit. I like this product.

With two people these were very easy to fill with sand, the outer material is rugged and coated on the inside to keep things well contained. Handles to pick them up and straps to attach to tent posts make them easy to use for their intended purpose. (These also work great to add a few pounds in the back of your truck bed in winter driving conditions).

These are sturdy and well made. They hold a lot of sand! My gazebo stayed solid through a very windy and stormy summer!

These are well made and heavy duty bags. I filled them with a sand gravel mix and they are heavy enough. The handles are strong and made moving them easy. I think they are built to last and I am very happy with this purchase. Much better than the solid weights in my opinion. My wife uses them to weigh down a canopy tent when she is selling her "Twisted Tallow" soap at farmer's markets (also sold on Amazon). That's my shameless plug so check it out!

I'm using them to secure a 10 X 10 canopy tent. They were very easy to filled with White play sand. I was able to put around 70 Lbs in each bag. Pretty sure will be able to put more once I used them.Love the caring handle on the top.My biggest issue is that after only one used, one of the strap broke(see pics). After looking at them carefully, I notice that they were not stitches properly to have that much weight in them. They should go on the outside like they did but also make several X in the center to reenforce the strap to the bag.Used this weekend and we had several hours of good wind with strong guest of wind. The tent merely moved. The only reason I didn't give 5 starts is because of the strap issue. Now I'm afraid that it will happen to the other bags.Update:The company reach out and they were very understanding. They were very quick, professional and resole my issue. I would give 5 stars for the company but still keeping the 3 stars for the product. I may order an other set in the future and see if they made modification to strengthen the straps.
