I used the shorter versions of these fairly successfully for the last year. These have TWO important features that make them much better than others. First, the length protects from burns much better than the short ones. And, second, the black color will make for a much neater appearance. My first (shorter) set was in gray. Splashes baked on and were impossible to wash off. Splashes won’t show with the black ones. Love them.

Where has this product been all my life, it’s easy to trim to size for an exact fit. It’s great value for money, good quality, and color is bright enough to see where it is. Smell went away with a quick clean and aired it out for a day. Do yourself and your knuckles a favor and get this.

They do guard your hands from getting burned. They want to come off when you slide a heavy pan towards you to remove it from the oven.

They are fantastic, I was constantly burning the top of my hand reaching in and out of the oven, these are fantastic, they protect my hands and actually look great.
