1. Connection Caution: When connecting wires, please pay attention to the polarity of the terminals – red is positive (+), and black is negative (-). Incorrect polarity may result in charging failure.
2. Waterproof Care: Your product comes equipped with a waterproof silicone cap. To ensure protection during idle periods or in rainy/snowy conditions, kindly cover the unit with the silicone cap. Should it be submerged in water for an extended period, allow it to dry thoroughly before resuming use.
3. Power Management: The device features an independent power switch. It's advisable to turn off the power to 'OFF' when not in use or when charging your phone isn't needed, to prevent draining your motorcycle's battery.
4. Installation Tip: Ensure the handlebar diameter falls within the range of 0.75 to 0.87 inches for a secure fit. If the diameter is too small, adding silicone washers can help; conversely, for larger diameters, consider using thinner silicone rings.

I just used this on a long road trip and was highly pleased. The mounting clip could be larger for fat handlebars like mine but it stayed in place by adding a small zip tie. This will give you a read out of your battery health which is an added bonus. I was able to easily route the wire to my battery tender plug. I used the included polarity adapter. This device allowed me to keep my iPhone charged which I use for navigation. I rode through a full day of rain and did not experience any issue with the device.

My battery box says 12v, but it turns out it's 36, because it's 3 batteries in a series. So... This USB power converter won't work.My fault for lack of due diligence, I should have measured first.I can't return it, because I had to cut the wire to fit it in my battery box.

I bought this to install it on my Vulcan 900 classic. Install took way longer than I expected - but that is not the fault of the product, it's was just user error and unfamiliarity with how to run the cable from the battery to the handle bar. No - I did not take off the tank. Once installed the bike started fine and the charger works fine. The bike makes a slightly different sound when starting but maybe that is because I have both the charger and tender cables connected to the battery now.I can see the red LED just fine under any lighting conditions. The constant amperage reader is great and the charger works perfect!I took away 1 star because it does not fit the handle bar immediately out of the box. It is too large. It comes with a long strip of sticky tape to put inside the handlebar grip, but using the whole thing makes the grip much too small. I had to guess a few times and cut the strip down to make the perfect fit. Each failure meant removing it from the grip so it lost some stickiness. Once it was perfect I cinched it down just right but the screw it comes with is just a little to short to fasten it. I ended up using a few small zip ties instead.

Very satisfied with this product, which now allows me to see the battery condition and charging voltage while riding the motorcycle. USB charging is a nice addition. Solid construction, weatherproof, easy to read. Looks good, too.

really like this product, changed out several of our motorcycle chargers to this system that allows us to charge 2 devices at one time, the on/off stitch is nice as well, it has a variety of mounting possibilities with the included hardware
