Tractor supply always runs out in my areas so when I saw this great value I jumped on it . Took a good while to get it to my place but the size is what we needed! It's helped with moisture levels during the triple digit weather. So size , quality and functionality are all there!

It has some kind of gluey bonding agent that works great for starting grass from seed; we’ve bought it twice now

I have two 4' x 17' raised garden beds in my yard. I had been using baled straw as mulch but have run in to issues with residual herbicides in the straw stunting my plants. I ran across this produce while I was looking for some organic mulch options.One bale of EZ-straw perfectly covers one raised bed. I put it on thinly, only about an 1 -1.5 inches thick to see how well the Tack worked. I was very pleased to see that the Tack worked beautifully! It really did stay in a semi-loose mat, and I didn't have to put on 3-4 inches like I had to with straw that would sometimes crushed or buried small seedlings. It prevents weeds just as well has a thicker layer of straw and stays where I put it. It's great. I will be using this in my garden again.

As far as the product was concerned, it spreads easily and once it is "wetted" it stay in place regardless of the wind. Exactly what I was looking for. As for value, it was 3-4 times as expensive as getting it at the local farm supply store. In total, I bought 2 on Amazon and 8 more at the local farm supply store for pretty close to the same cost.

I used this straw to mulch a several areas in my lawn that were excavated to install large drainage tiles. Most areas were approximately 50' x 5'. In total I had about 1,100 sq ft to mulch. Each bale says it covers 500 sq ft, but it covers well more that. I used one whole bale and less than half of the second bale. After three weeks, I had great new grass growth and zero wheat. Excellent product. I felt guilty paying to have special straw shipped, but it was worth the price.
