The long ones work well for an unstaggered pickup but the short ones are a bit too short. I’m new to pickup making, the mistake was mine, product is fine though.

These were listed as 18mm and 15mm slug magnets, unfortunately they were all 18mm. Decent alnico 5s but not as described.

Have fun, amaze your friends, impress the girls. Learn to disassemble your pickup and change the magnets.Change those warm sounding and low output Alnico 2 magnets to a set of Alnico 5. Wow, more metal sound, lots of output and I did it myself.
