The Purpose of an Air Cleaner Duct Hose ?
The air intake hose is the rubber tube piece that connects the air filter box and the intake manifold. It's primary function is to filter the air that goes into the intake manifold. Without the hose, trash could get into intake manifold, which could then travel to the vehicle's engine. Over time, this could cause the engine's injectors to stop up, which would then result in your vehicle not running efficiently.
What trouble will the Air Cleaner Duct Hose malfunction?
When the air intake hose, which is the rubber tube piece that connects the air filter box and the intake manifold, becomes old or possibly even cracks, it won't function appropriately. These issues can arise also when the air intake hose is dried, cracked, or just flat out old. Your vehicle will have poor performance, less than spectacular gas mileage and could also allow trash to get into your engine. Depending on the type of air intake system, you have on your vehicle, and whether it is factory or aftermarket, the style of air intake hose may differ. There are a number of styles available ranging from elbows to hump hoses - all of which will depend on the make and model of your vehicle as well as the type of air intake system on your vehicle.

Keep an eye on the air intake hose and if you see signs of old age, wear and tear, the tiniest cracks, etc. get an order placed to get a new one as soon as possible. The sooner you can replace the old air intake hose with a new one, the better your air intake system, as well as your engine as a whole, will be.

Tubes that connect to throttle body was very tight I had to sand it down a little bit but after that it fit and sealed amazingly.

The oil breather nipple broke off immediately and the hose clamps are cheap, completely non functional junk. The upside is it fits and the hoses seem ok. The item will work just plan on gluing the nipple on and replacing all the hose clamps. You will need to trim the rubber hoses where the clamps go too because regular hose clamps won’t work right unless you do.
